anyone else got problems
Please note that if you are using a hard bound notebook or journal, adding in additional pages will bulk up your book, like so: (these are the exact same journals, btw)
- Envelopes. Let’s say you’re doing a section on Tarot in your Grimoire, and you want to include a few Tarot spreads, but you don’t want to waste two or three pages. Glue an envelope onto one of your pages to make a “pocket” where you can store little cards or papers with the tarot spreads written on them.
- Pockets. Similar to the envelope idea. If you have a page, or section for example, on herbal teas, you can make a pocket out of a piece of paper to keep your current favorite tea recipes in.
- Dividers, Cover Pages and Ribbons. If you’re like me and you like to have “sections” in your grimoire, you can easily make dividers by gluing a sheet of paper in your book (to make it heavier to make the sections stand out more). You can go further by turning your divider into a cover page for that section. And if you don’t like the idea doing that, you can always glue a ribbon, or a string, to the spine of your book to act as a bookmark.
- Double pages. I always had a problem with “wasting” pages in my grimoire. For example, my page on consecrating and charging. These two concepts are very similar to me, and I didn’t want two page stating the same thing. So, what I did was write out all my information on charging on a separate sheet of paper, then glued the top of that page into my grimoire. This way I could flip up the page on charging (as if it were on a clipboard) and have my page on consecrating underneath.
- Extended pages. Similar to the one above. In my Crystal section of my Grimoire, I decided to write out a chart that let me search for crystals by intention. So I drew my chart on a long sheet of paper, then folded it over (side to side) so that it fit comfortably in my book, then I just glued one side down into the book.
- Brochures. In my Elements section, I had a ton of information I wanted to write down, but I didn’t want each element to have more than two pages. So I used a piece of computer paper and folded it into a brochure (or into thirds) and glued it into the book so that the flaps would open and give me double the space to write.
- Clear Tape. There are many times where i finished a page in my grimoire only to find out there was a section that I left out. A simply way to fix this was with clear tape. I would write my forgotten bit of into on a separate piece of paper and then use clear tape to tape one side of the paper to my page. This allows me to flip the paper back and forth without covering up anything that I had written.

It’s okay to have to learn to believe in magick. It’s okay if a part of your brain says that everything you’re doing is fake. It’s okay if you have no idea how to be spiritual or religious, but you just know you are.
It’s hard to adapt to a new spirituality, no matter how much it feels like the right path for you. It’s hard if you were raised non-religious or by a religion that taught you everything you’re doing is a sin.
You’re here because you’re a witch or pagan. A REAL witch or pagan. You’re finding your path, and you’ll grow and learn to believe in everything it entails. One day, that little voice in your brain will be gone.
I believe in you. You are valid. You are strong. Go be the magickal being you are.
Blessed be!

Hello! Do you make offerings to the sun? I personally do, and I was wondering what some of your favorite things to offer are if so? I'm having a hard time figuring out more things to offer, since there isn't much on it anywhere. And i really hate having to use the same things over and over :( Blessed be and have a nice day/evening/night! 💛 and thanks if you answer :) <3

Creating A Morning Ritual 🧘🏾♀️☀️
The Summer Solstice has finally come! We are officially halfway through the year. This energy is great for manifesting, expressing gratitude, and making changes in your life for the next few months. Now is the best time to create new morning rituals, to not only enhance your living but to enhance your magic as well! ✨
A morning ritual is anything you do to get your day started. In the witchy world, a morning ritual combines mundane tasks with everyday magic practice.
Sometimes the morning is the only time we get to practice magic, with our lives being so hectic and busy.
Your morning ritual can last anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour or more.
First figure out how much time you have to spare in the mornings. Do you have 9am classes or work really early in the morning? Set your alarm for 10-20min before you have to leave, and do your morning ritual then. Work overnight and only get the mornings to sleep? Set an alarm for early afternoon, the exact time doesn’t matter. Mornings completely free? Set up I comfortable time to rise and you use as much time as you’d like.
The ritual should last as long as your activities do. If it takes you 20 minutes to do yoga and you’d like to include it in your routine, try to allot time for that. Which brings us to the next point:
Anything that you want to become habitual and/or anything you’re trying to improve at.
It takes 21+ days to create a habit, and 1,000 hours minimum to get good at something, so including these things in your morning ritual will help speed up that process.
A normal morning ritual consists of regular activities like: making tea/coffee, stretching, taking a shower etc. When you’re coming up with your list, make sure to include these tasks that you’re already used to doing. (this will be helpful in figuring out how much time you need, as well)
To spice up your morning ritual, try to turn those mundane tasks into something more magical. Then, consider which of your witchy practices require little energy and can start you up for the day.
Pulling tarot/oracle cards for the day
Showers/baths for cleansing 🚿
Smoke cleansing 💨
Making tea/coffee with herbs corresponding to your intentions for the day (ie. rosemary before going to any classes/lectures) 🍵☕️
Doing chakra meditation focused on a specific chakra ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🧘🏾♀️
Sun Salutation Yoga ☀️
Creating a quick crystal grid
Going outside and walking barefoot, for grounding 🌱🌿
Burn incense with scents/herbs corresponding to the day’s intentions
Write out affirmations/intentions for the day in a notebook/journal
Dream journaling! ✨
Working on a page in your grimoire 📕
Playing music and dancing around the house to stir up energy 💃🏽🎶
Lighting a candle on your altar or around your sacred space (bonus points for color based on intention) 🕯
Quick self-love/glamour magic 💎
Etc. etc. etc.
Your list could include one, a few, all, or none of these things. It’s all about what feels right for your individual practice. If you don’t already know what you want to do, look into what other witches or spirituals in your belief do on a daily basis. For example, practitioner of Norse Mythology often work with runes, you could definitely include that in your morning ritual.
But most importantly your morning routine is your own. Make it what you want it to be. It can be as long or as short as you’d like, and as eccentric as you please. The most important part is that you enjoy what you’re doing, and you feel energized doing it.
If you have anything else you like to do in your morning routines send them to me or reblog under this post 🖤
house goals for 2021 🌿
speaking it into existence 🧘🏼♀️
I am one with the earth/the stars/the sun/the moon 🌙
My craft is valid
Through my craft, I find my purpose
I am a powerful being with powerful talents
It’s okay if I don’t have the energy to practice all the time
It’s okay to step away from things that make me anxious
I don’t have to prove myself to anyone
My craft is about promoting love within myself and the universe
My craft teaches me about myself
I bring no harm
Spells/enchantments will not work sometimes due to circumstances beyond my control, and that’s okay
I do not have to copy anyone else’s methods to be considered a valid witch
I do not have to be part of a certain religion to be considered a valid witch
I do not have to know everything about witchcraft to be a valid witch
Witchcraft is a personal, intimate thing that I use to connect to the world around me
