It’s almost like the door to his room is holding him back, telling Oscar to back off because he is maybe not ready to deal with the things that were waiting for him on the other side. There is a distant memory in his mind, the way Lando comforted him after Australia. Just stayed with him for hours, holding long ass monologues and playing COD with him until Oscar was able to laugh again. It would be the same, right? Making Lando laugh, comforting him until Oscar could be sure he would get a good sleep without tearing himself apart.
