I see Courtney posts on #riot grrrr CONSTANTLY. Like every swipe at least two Courtney lovers. It genuinely makes me SO ANGRY. Stop idolizing a fraud!?!? and because what? Because she's pretty? And hot? Why are you even a riot grrrl if you like her because of that. What makes you different from anybody else?

She's not iconic or different or new. She's just pretty, and a fucking terrible person.

Fruitcake is (Usually) Biased Towards Sprout

I said what I said

It's not really shocking information, people just don't like to point it out because they often partake in this. People will make Sprout some gorgeous majestic main toon and then depict Cosmo as some ugly Common?? Like you guy's genuinely add a power dynamic and its WEIRD. Or just literally drawing Cosmo to be "uglier" and not giving him personality. Like why does Sprout get literal hair and you strip Cosmo of his icing AND star freckles and basically just anything that makes him unique ? You can claim otherwise but when you look at an artist, or more specifically fruitcake artists work, you can tell whether they have a bias or not. And it HURTS my soul because its ALWAYS cosmo getting done dirty and then they claim they "love cosmo" Please do not name any artists, unless you wish to uplift them. I usually try to avoid fruitcake content because I am a die-hard Cosmo fan and yk, it's usually not suitable for us. But an artist on here that I ADORE that does both characters and their dynamic justice is @avosya also appreciate that cosmo actually looks good LOL

Book Did Nothing To Pin

are we gonna ignore the fact that the entire episode where book 'forced ice cube to go to the party' was about ice cube standing up to PIN. Like she WANTED to go to the party?? Book never forced anything. Or are we just gonna let Pin fans keep hating on Book for no reason...

Absolutely loved the pilot! I think a fun aspect of this whole concept is the inherent fusion of American cartoons and anime, which means that a full series could potentially draw from the tropes of both. Are there any favorite tropes you'd like to do with these characters? Valentine's Day/White Day drama? A class festival, somehow? Everybody gets shrunk down to microscopic size and goes inside somebody's body? Body swap? Beach episode?

No particular episode tropes in mind but the characters all very heavily lean on anime tropes for their personalities! Aika and Eclipse especially since they’re from that world (or at least Eclipse acts like he does)

Aika’s has a lot of shonen protagonist tropes (being food motivated, a bit dense and socially inept etc.). Zira’s a bit more down to earth and meant to be the audience surrogate. But I mean she’s still the otaku trope for sure haha.

Definitely wanted to have those tropes to make it FEEL anime-ish despite the cartoonier style. That’s why it was important for me to get anime VAs hehe
