Alright, I take back all the criticism and hate I gave She-Hulk. I’ve just finished the show for the first (after I refused to watch it for a long time) and that shit was highkey lowkey good. I really liked Jennifer Walters. Almost all the criticism and shit I gave the show was acknowledged in it. The show was fun and different, and used a lot of different filming and storytelling techniques. I’ve never watched Daredevil, but I’m certainly gonna start now.

And yes, the show still has it’s issues and yes, I’m still mad about her Hulk form, but the show is much better than I anticipated, and it gets way too much hate.

Will saying that he’s never gonna fall in love in season three, is something I identify with so much as a queer person. I remember when all my friends started chrushing on boys and getting boyfriends, and I just didn’t get it. I was so mad and hurt, that that was all they suddenly cared about.

People keep saying that Eddie won’t return in the next season, but I still have hope. One of the most fundamental things in movies and shows is the gun rule (I’m not sure what exactly it’s called), which is the rule that if you introduce a gun In the story it has to be used in some way. If something is introduced (like a gun, knife, a character, etc.) it has to be used and have a purpose. Almost every single story follows this. When The Hellfire Club is playing their final game in season 4, part of their storyline is that the character Kas rescues Vecna, and Vecna returns. And then Kas is never mentioned again. To mention and introduce such an important and fundamental character would make no sense, if they wouldn’t use him to further the plot. In my understanding (which is limited, I must admit) Kas is like a vampire lieutenant who serves Vecna, but ultimately ends up betraying Vecna. It would make so much sense for Eddie to “become” Kas. Just think about. Eddie returning as a vampire like creature, who serves Vecna, and the party having to fight him. It would be such a great storyline!

I don’t know if anything I said made sense, or if I’m just yapping away. You can also most definitely find someone who will explain this better. I really hope for this to be true, but you never know. It is after all just a theory.

My current favorite thing is reading The Umbrella Academy fics written after season one. Before season two or any of the other seasons aired. The collective love for Klaus the fandom has, Klaus’ and Diegos relationship, BEN, all of the theories about what would happen in season two. It’s so great. And every single fic is better than the actual outcome we got. The only good thing about season 4 was Luther, and that means we’ve really sunken low.

After the disaster that was The Umbrella Academy season four, I think that everyone should watch the first two seasons of Misfits. I promise you that Nathan Young will fix the broken heart that The Umbrella Academy left behind. And that show really just needs to be talked about more.

Season 4 of The Umbrella Academy was literally so ass, it makes me mad

Listen I love the idea that ghost can only feel each other. But, but I also love the idea that hell was the first time Edwin and Charles truly felt each other. That even through all the bad, they got that little gift. To be able to feel each other for the first time. I’m a very conflicted person

In my head, the bitchy and sassy Edwin we all know and love first happened after hell. He was most definitely not like that before he went to hell and then spend 30 years with Charles, I’ll do everything for you, Rowland. Before hell he was, like we see in the flashback, timid, nervous and awkward. He didn’t seem to have any friends, he was scared of talking to people and he obviously got bullied, which we can hear when he mentions Simon snatching his cap off of him in episode 7 and the fact that he literally got sacrificed by a bunch of guys (which was suppose to be a prank to scare him, but still, that is definitely bullying). Edwin before hell is almost a completely different version of Edwin, at least in my head.

Watching Dead Boy Detectives with the girl I have a crush on was really an experience in itself

You know how Crystal tries to read the Night Nurse, sees Horrors, and the NN says "you don't want to look in there?"

Well.

What if, when she told Charles that she was going to make Edwin relive his traumas, she actually got to him? And then she had the SAME reaction as Crystal did to reading her, when she tried to see his trauma?

And then Edwin, with a neutral expression, mirrored her by going "and you don't want to look in there?"

Edwin really was flabbergasted when Charles said the infamous words “Looks like you’re stuck with me.”

I saw a post saying people really need a new monster of the week show, and I 100% agree. And I also believe that Dead Boy Detectives most definitely could be that show. Give that show 22 episodes per season. Add some filler episodes. Some episodes that really doesn’t matter, but that you love anyway. It is the perfect show for it. Stop with the 8 episodes per season where every episode matters, and give us back stupid filler episodes. And as i said before, the show is perfect for it. They are detectives who solve crimes. Perfect. The characters are great, and you want to watch more of them. Everythings aligning. Just give the people what they want.

It’s not just a want for me. It’s a need.

I love that when Charles says that he can’t love Edwin back like Edwin wants to, Edwin starts looking down, and the moment he does that Charles immediately bends down to get eye contact with hin once again. To let him know that it’s alright. That he still loves him. It’s just such a sweet little gesture. God I love them.
