Supernatural really missed out on having an ongoing mini plot where Dean finds out Claire has been going by the Winchester name, because she realized it has pull with hunters and monsters. And at first he's flattered and gives her a call saying it'll probably get you in trouble so stop. But over time it keeps croping up that monsters and hunters keep mentioning, oh I didn't realize you had a kid? And of course it inevitably blows up in Claire's face which leads Dean calling her saying that she needs to get her ass to the bunker now. She's grounded. And right next to Dean is Cas and his phone starts ringing. Cas sighs and hands it to Dean because it's Claire. It's the best day of Dean's life. He answers and is like, hey kid. There's no praying your way out of this one. Cas also says you're grounded. Wanna go three for three? I can call Jody right now.

“I’m literally taller than you.”

“Hair doesn’t count, Farrah.”

As much as I like taller Steve, taller Eddie just hits different—

okay i've seen a lot of "eddie is the only one who doesn't treat steve like an idiot" discourse recently so allow me to take that and RAISE YOU

steve trying to quote that passage from sherlock holmes and instead of looking at him like he has three heads for getting it wrong eddie is just like "oh do you mean [corrected quote]? I didn't know you were a fan of sir conan doyle!"

steve: um i haven't actually read anything by him i just heard that quote from... someone and i thought it sounded cool. guess i screwed it up though huh

eddie: oh. dude. you gotta read sherlock holmes. you'll love it! *goes off on a rambly tangent that actually gets steve excited to read something for once in his life*

of course steve has to deal with the fact that he was never the strongest reader, and that was BEFORE all the head trauma, but he figures eddie doesn't need to know that just yet

We're fanfic writers, we spend hours researching an incredibly niche topic we know nothing about so that we can have one sentence be factually correct

Sometimes a creative outlet is a fun little hobby and sometimes it's a lifelong affliction. Like I crochet because making little woven animals sparks joy and I'm a writer whether I like it or not because I'm tormented by visions

One of the reasons why I love Steddie is how sweet Eddie was with Steve in the forest scene. That’s what got me into this ship. It was nice to see someone being patient and kind to Steve like that and it coming from someone like Eddie who viewed Steve so differently means a lot.

I loved how he told him how much Dustin looks up to him, making Steve smile and even after that wanting to joke around a little to make Steve laugh as well.

It was such a nice change, because all the other scenes we just see him bickering with someone or people making him seem stupid when he asks questions. Eddie didn’t make fun of him for not knowing Ozzy like he probably would have prior to things and instead let it be and called Steve cool. I love them.

“You know, it was like this flashback. You know they say that, when you're about to die, your life flashes before you. In my mind, I was flashing back to Lazarus Rising and seeing him walk through the barn with the sparks flying, and all of the sudden, all of these clips in my mind of Castiel and walking into the lake, and all of these things that are ingrained in my memory.”

Jensen - and by extension, Dean - was remembering the first time he said hello to Castiel, and the first time he had to say goodbye.
