On the Qabalistic Tree of Life, The Devil- ATU/Key 15, is the Tree of Life, Path of Ayin, meaning “eye” and it connects the 6th Sephiroth of the Solar Logos, Tiphareth with the 8th Sephiroth-Hod, which is the sphere of Mercury and the intellect. The Path of Ayin, is the Twenty-sixth Tree of Life Path and is formative. In the terms of Self structure, it is the bridge between The Personality and individuality; the false- ego and the Soul. Hence, the universal symbol for I-denity is the “one eye”.
