It was God knows how late as Nancy laid in her bed, eyes closed but not asleep. She grumbled as she rolled over. Flashes of Robin in her brain. The thought of how good his name rolled off her tongue. She rolled over again. The feeling of his hands on her etched into her skin like permanent ink. Her name coming out of his lips like a prayer in her ears. She sighed as she moved onto her back.

'I always thought that being the daughter of Lonnie Byers.. Was bad enough. People staring at me with hate or loathing just because of the last name I share with my dad. It wasn't untill a week before my 11th birthday.. That my life took a turn for the worst. Me and My Dearest friend Nancy were taking our normal walk home from school like we always did but this time it was different. It was tense and quiet due to a huge fight we had gotten into earlier that day. I didn't want Nancy to walk home alone.. So I still walked with her I would have never let her walk home alone. I reached for her hand to apologize for something I truly didn't need to apologize for. I felt my hand brush hers before my body was yanked away from her and pulled into a Dark Tinted black car... '
