i hate to toot my own horn (**honks horn**), but this is important

sometimes the only closure you will get is knowing that everything you did was done earnestly and out of love

still thinking about how mack and will excitedly counted down to say each others names for who their emergency contacts would be, and how the rest of the team proceeded to say it’d essentially be anybody but them.

huh. i just thought 'it's ok to not know what the hell is going on when you start learning something new' and it soothed my anxiety significantly

When you write an amazing line and can’t tell if you’re a genius or just accidentally plagiarized it from a book you read seven years ago:

These words haunt me still, and on the eve of my engagement -

I think of these words again after a conversation with my mother where she told me “my heart could not be trusted because I have a track record” and she recounted each past relationship I had and was told to remember why they failed.

How does one live like that? How does one live not trusting one’s heart? Is that not all we have?

To be human

To love

To lose

To love again.

It is to be human. I do not want to live afraid, I do not want to love holding back. I will not be blind, but I will listen to heart and I will be human.
