(February 2023, Acrylic Paint)
I'm doing a fanart theme for this week (Oct 2 - Oct 8), and hollow knight specifically for today. I'm thinking about posting more art later today, because I have 100 pieces of hollow knight fanart to choose from, but for now I have very low energy so they'll either be in separate posts or added to this in a reblog chain ^^

(Photo taken September 4, 2022) (but Im pretty sure i drew this July 2022)
Rambling under cut!
This may or may not be a surprise to people, but i like Genshin Impact a lot! Although it is very much not perfect and I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. Or most people, at least not without a disclaimer
I was extremely into it for almost two years after it released but started to drift away from it August 2022 (when Loki and I discovered DSMP), and since then I'll occasionally get back into it for a couple weeks or a month before getting distracted again
Practicing drawing the very detailed characters was great for me artistically though, and i've drawn a lot of fanart for it! I have 115 images of fanart saved in my images, which is also about the same amount as i have for hollow knight.
Oh also, rare inked drawing! I don't like inking much, it feels very easy to mess up with them, and these days I tend more towards colored pencils as lines. But I've done some cool stuff with pens to, one of my favorites of which I'll be posting onc we get into Halloween week :3
Link to the jam entry and rambling below the cut!
The rules were that everyone had a color palette to work with, (which we could modify if we wanted) and could make whatever they wanted within 10 days.
I still haven't decided the characters' names, so suggestions are appreciated 😅But I do know they've been living together for years and love each other very much! And there's some other ideas I have of them that I'll talk about when I get around to making a proper introduction post for them both (after I name them)
I want to try and make a short VN starring them at some point this year.

finally got around to watching episodes 2 and 3. here's some pomnis!
Made in this scratch game i found on neocities (link)
and Wigglypaint (link)
Got some practice with landscapes and colored pencils today! Using Genshin Impact scenery as studies. I feel very sleepy now
Can you recognize the locations these are from?
these are all from several months ago, i thought while i was posting other old art i'd release these as well :D
oh also: bonus panel edit!
I wanted to attempt a 2 page spread! Turns out that makes it a lot harder to take good pictures, but I really like how it looks when I open my sketchbook to that page :D
I was thinking of adding in some jellyfish with acrylic paint but didn't end up getting around to that, alas.

(May 2022)
I did mermay one year! Everything was made with inks and colored pencils, but it was before i'd actually figured out how to best use colored pencils. I used a promptlist from instagram that i liked the look of and posted all the illustrations to my instagram (which is very dead nowadays. i only still have the app installed so loki can send me reels and stuff) I'd improved a lot by the end of it, but i often ended up missing/delaying days and i was being buried under homework while i did it Mermaids are one of my go-to subject matters for sketches, so its kinda strange i haven't really posted any here before.
Since I recently posted a picture of my most recently completed sketchbook cover, here's a pic of the sketchbook before that. I'd just started trying watercolors in this sketchbook, and I really wanted to incorporate them into the sketchbook somehow. So I took a page from the book and sketched my design, cut the paper into the shapes I wanted, painted the character in with acrylics, painted the field around them with watercolor, and then added the flowers with acrylics on top.
I really love this one, it makes me happy when I look at it ^^
