i have seen (and agreed with) a lot of observations about phoenix's aa4 serious sprite resembling kristoph's and klavier's (miles's also) but honestly i feel like that's at least partially phoenix's own thing.

i know he's a sponge and i know aa loves to show visual evidence of influence and change through sprites, but... i feel like this sprite of his is only part perfectionism and more determination, which matches the close-up better than kristoph's sprites. the one with the cup only appears by the end of aa3 furthering the godot beanix parallels but whatever
