excuse me...terf shifters? terf shifters have COMMUNITY? WTF
if you're in shiftblr and a terf, block me now. I don't want to see you on my dash again.
alright, let's have a little intervention. a public service announcement. an exorcism of the word "attempting."
might rock some reality boats, so grab a life vest or a martini.....whatever makes you feel more secure. we need to abolish, no, incinerate, the concept of "trying" to shift. the idea that you are "attempting" to manifest. because what do you mean you’re ‘trying’ to shift? what does that actually mean. are you ‘trying’ to exist? are you ‘trying’ to walk into a kitchen? you either do or you don’t. there is no ‘attempt’ in action, there is only action. you are shifting every second. every thought is a step. every breath is a move. every blink is a new scene. there is no in-between state, no limbo where you sit and mull over whether or not you’re doing it right. you are doing it, whether you recognise it or not.
this applies to loa, too !!! you don’t ‘try’ to manifest. you don’t ‘attempt’ to believe. you either accept reality as yours, or you hesitate at the door, and hesitation is not movement. you wouldn’t say you’re ‘trying’ to breathe. you just breathe. you wouldn’t say you’re ‘attempting’ to see something with your own eyes. your eyes are open. the world is there. whether you acknowledge it or not is your own decision.
when i tell you the single biggest thing that helped me shift was just realising i wasn’t ‘attempting’ anything. i wasn’t waiting to get it right, wasn’t holding my breath for some imaginary confirmation screen to pop up and tell me i’d done it. i was already doing it. the only difference between me and the person ‘trying’ was that i stopped questioning whether i was moving and just started walking.
please !!!! let’s abolish ‘attempting.’ let’s retire this whole "mini shift" nonsense, this "i think i almost did it" foolishness. no. you walk. you step through. you are there. no intermediaries, no limbo, no shaky maybe-land where you’re wading in ankle-deep hesitation. either you’re in or you’re out. there isn't some vague purgatory of almostness. you shift every second. you can manifest in seconds. no trying. just doing. throw it into the fire. take it out back like an old tv set that no longer works. you are not attempting. you are being. and the moment you get that....you’re already there.
wow this actually made a lot of sense to me
Letting go and what it actually is.
Everyone takes letting go too far. It is a simple thing. It does not require any effort. The purpose of letting go is not to make you forget about everything that you want or acting like you have it already even when you don't believe it.
It is a reminder. It is a reminder of your true self. That you will experience your desires because that's how reality works. That you can do whatever you want and not worry because reality passes through you and you experience it with what you choose. It's supposed to be a easy. Because it is easy. There is nothing you need to do to let go except the thing that you want to do.
Here's what it's not:
You're not supposed to forget about your desire.
You're not supposed to stop scripting for your DR (or anything dr related).
You're not supposed to stop and 'move on' from your desire.
You're not supposed to force the flow of your thoughts towards already having it.
You're not supposed to distract yourself whenever the thought of your desire arises.
You're not supposed to do a million methods and breathe thinking that 'I let it go now' only to spiral into 'no I didn't' again.
Here's what it is:
Whatever you want it to be.
Doing whatever the fuck you want to do and not judging yourself for it (Includes having doubts, spiralling, feeling whatever you want and any 'negative' thing you can think of).
That's it. That's what letting go actually is. It's just trusting yourself and if you think that it's not that then you don't know enough about how our realities work. How we work. This is why I keep on telling y'all to educate yourself properly regarding shifting and everything that it is. This is literally it. Your doubts, feelings and everything physical is unrelated to shifting. You will shift regardless.
"How do I trust myself then?" You ask me looking so stupid because how the fuck am I supposed to know that I'm not you. You know yourself best. Bloggers cannot help with everything, I'm just sitting behind a screen showing you the map, you have to walk it yourself. Only YOU can change yourself and only YOU know yourself enough to change.
If you want to think about your desire 24/7 do it. If you want to daydreaming thinking about your dr do it. Want to script for 10 hours? Go get some coffee. Want to rant how annoying everyone in your cr is while changing your assumptions about them? Go off slay or whatever. Spiraled again? Doesn't matter keep doing that until you stop naturally. Let yourself breathe and exist and feel.
tower fics are so back baby
you will shift ( hypnotizes you )
reminder: shifting is real. you’re going to have memories from when you were a kid or random interactions with people you knew back then. even the dream you may have had when you were 10... oh and perhaps the supermarket you visited with your parents 6 years ago? your life in your dr doesn’t start from the moment you shift there. life is still life. don’t treat your dr as a ‘magical‘ place.

Your inner reality is the true reality because it is the only space where creation happens. The external world—the 3D—is simply a reflection of what you've already accepted, assumed, or believed in your mind.
Everything you experience in the physical world was once a thought, assumption, or belief held in your inner world.
When you affirm something as true in your mind, you are imprinting that assumption onto your subconscious, which cannot tell between what's "real" or "imagined." The moment you declare something is so, it becomes a part of your inner reality. That’s when manifestation happens: the moment you choose to affirm and accept something as true, it already exists in your inner world and your external reality must reflect that.
So, when you affirm something, it’s not something that “will happen” later—it’s already real in your inner world. The physical reality is simply the reflection of your inner assumptions. For example, the physical reality you see right now is just your previous thoughts, assumptions or beliefs. The main goal is to accept it true in your mind; the physical reality changing is just a "side effect" bound to happen because it has no choice but to reflect back to you the reality you’ve created in your mind.
recently got reminded of Jason’s “hello bed, hello pillow,” line and how deeply I feel that reflects his character and his longing. so here’s some yearning!jason because that boy loves deeply and profoundly down to his very soul. have I mentioned I love him? also once again the romanized arabic at the end translates to “my life” and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite terms of endearment for Jay to use.
Thinking about Jason Todd and how deeply he yearns for you. He’s waited so long to be loved in the way he craves, has been so hungry for it that the ache in his belly has never really gone away. He’s been a wraith, a corpse, a man starving for affection and sweetness. And then you come along and change everything for him. How couldn’t he yearn for you? How couldn’t he long for you every moment that you’re not in his presence? Revere you and worship you every moment that you are?
Thinking about Jason Todd who treats you like something divine, something holy. He kisses the bruises you get from bumping into countertops or tripping along the crooked cobblestones in Gotham Heights. He ghosts his thumbs over your closed eyes when you lay down with him to sleep in the early hours of the morning. Jason Todd who holds you so, so close to him. He knows you run cold and he runs burning hot, so it’s only right that he wraps his entire body around you to keep you warm and safe. It’s proof to him that the two of you may be something fated, something that life and death can’t touch. How perfectly you suit each other. His fire to your coolness, his strength to your gentleness, his storm to your clear shining day.
Thinking about Jason Todd who clings to everything he’s ever loved and lost with bloodied fingers from how tightly he holds on. His fingers aren’t bloodied with you though. He doesn’t have to dig his nails in, bite down with his teeth, and force you to stay. You remain peacefully in his arms. You lie there content like you trust him, like you love him. That’s what makes his yearning all the more fierce—it’s returned by you. He used to doubt it, used to think he was unworthy and undeserving and that no one could possibly pick him out of all the people in the world. But you’ve stuck around and proved him wrong. So when he yearns for you, it isn’t with the pain of clawing into something bound to leave him. It isn’t with the bone-deep terror of loss. He yearns for you with the peace of coming home.
Thinking of Jason Todd who comes back from patrol just before daybreak. The sky is the same blue-green as his eyes and exhaustion weighs down his body. Still, his soul lifts when he sees what he’s been longing for for the past three hours. A warm bed, a soft pillow, and his heart snuggled up under the blankets.
“Hello, bed,” Jason says as he pulls his helmet off and sets it on the dresser.
“Hello, pillow,” he greets as he lays his gear on the balcony railings to be cleaned tomorrow.
“Hello, hayati,” he whispers with a kiss to your hair as he climbs into bed and pulls you into his arms.
Just…thinking about Jason Todd who yearns for you.
