1. Gotten almost all of the korok seeds in BOTW (I’m actually really proud about this one)

2. Dyed my hair for the first time

3. Started to play games with other people rather than just by myself

4. Finally have gotten a fashion glow up!

5. Been able to spend much more time talking with friends

6. Finally come to terms with my sexuality!

7. Started working out more and now kinda have an interest for it

8. Got a new cat!

9. Got accepted into a program I really wanted to get into!

10. Been cooking a lot more (though the dishes typically come out unedible for everyone except myself 😭)

11. Started talking a lot more with my sisters

12. Cut the relationship with my (toxic) father

13. Grew plants, tho they died like a week later

The ’pitter patter’ of rain echoed around the small bedroom, the watery streaks casting shadows onto the bed itself. The weather was truly miserable tonight- exactly how she felt. Normally, she would be able to sleep so easily on nights like these. The sound of the rain was so relaxing, so that paired with the embrace of her lover was enough to melt her into a peaceful sleep.

But her lover wasn’t here right now.

She was on another long trip away from home- they were fairly common you see. Shinobu was a pharmaceutical scientist, one of the best in her field to be exact, and she was always called to foreign locations to help out. This time…she had been gone for a month.

“I know, Kanae, I miss her too” The h/c haired girl whispered to the cat that laid on her bed, who was meowing at her sadly. Whenever Shinobu was gone, the apartment just felt so empty…so cold. The couple had exchanged numerous texts and phone calls which was enough to keep her sane, but after a while all she really wanted was her partner in the flesh.

“Ugh, why can’t I sleep?” She groaned rhetorically as she swung her legs over the side of the bed, rubbing her face to try and make herself feel more refreshed. There was no point forcing it. If she couldn’t sleep, then she should just stay awake- she was hungry anyways.

Her bare feet reverberated against the cold tiles as she stumbled to the kitchen, Kanae following close behind her- hopping up onto the counter top to watch her owner. There wasn’t much food in the refrigerator or even in the cupboards. To be honest…she had been buying a lot of take out whilst Shinobu was away.

After finding nothing to eat that took her fancy, she stalked over to the couch- wrapping the f/c cardigan she had left hanging up tighter around herself. It was so cold tonight- the mix of the rain really didn’t help with the chill in the air. (Y/N) threw herself onto the couch, staring at the TV she had accidentally left on before going to bed- and so the boredom began. After what felt like hours (but was really around 40 minutes), she heard a noise outside.

The front door creaked open, accompanied by banging and cursing- and (Y/N) shot up from her seat on the couch. Who on earth was trying to get in at 4 in the morning?! Just as she was about to grab a TV remote (a terrible weapon, but it’s better than her bare hands), a familiar voice called out to her.

“Darling? I’m home” Shinobu called from the front door, and the girl wasted no time rushing towards her- jumping on her and wrapping her arms around her neck. The black haired girl stumbled for a second, but quickly adjusted herself to the girl clinging to her.

“I missed you so much! Oh my god…I missed you!” (Y/N) yelped as she covered her partners faces in kisses, barely allowing her enough time to breath.

“I missed you too, my love” Shinobu smiled as she placed a kiss on the girls forehead, dropping her bags at the door and carrying her girlfriend over to the couch so they could both sit down and catch up. After a long month, a oh so tortuous month- her one true love was finally home.

Whenever I get very excited or nervous about something I tend to repeat words or phrases, so to avoid this I usually don’t talk until I absolutely have to whenever at parties or dinners because I don’t have what I’m going to say planned

I get really passionate about the things I like that some people get very intimidated whenever they first meet me

I think faster than I can speak (due to me never properly getting taught how to speak both my languages until recently) so I often go in circles whenever I’m talking about things, not cuz I don’t have anything else to say, but because I don’t know how to correctly transitions into what I want to talk about
