A Lot Of Transformers Prime Makes A Lot More Sense Once You Realize Each Character Believes They're In

A lot of Transformers Prime makes a lot more sense once you realize each character believes they're in a different genre.

Most of the Autobots think they're in a post-apocalyptic survival series, except Wheeljack who thinks he's in a Last Cowboy/Last Samurai western/samurai movie, the human kids think they're in E.T, Agent Fowler thinks he's in a cold war movie, Knock-Out thinks he's in a porn movie, and Megatron& Optimus think they're in an epic tragedy.

Iranian Plainclothes Forces Have Abducted Dariush Farhoud, An 85-year-old Professor Of Medical And Clinical

Iranian plainclothes forces have abducted Dariush Farhoud, an 85-year-old professor of medical and clinical genetics known as the father of Iran’s genetics.

According to reports, Farhoud was arrested by the security forces at his home Sunday morning, and there has been no information about where and why he was taken.

The renowned scientist had earlier criticized the Islamic Republic for its violation of women’s rights. Earlier this year, Farhoud criticized the regime’s plans to ban pre-natal screening and legal abortions, describing them as violations of human rights. He called them a backward move to 200 years ago.

The government’s population and family planning policies include a ban on contraceptives, vasectomy and tubectomy, and prenatal screening for genetic abnormalities and congenital diseases.

Moreover, the Islamic Republic has passed legislation to outlaw tubectomy, vasectomy, and the free dispensation of contraceptives other than where pregnancy would threaten a woman’s health. The health ministry has advised women over 35 to wait only a year before becoming pregnant again and under-35s to wait six months.

The new legislation would also increase sexually transmitted diseases by restricting access to condoms.

"if mushrooms are the superior lifeform that really calls the shots on this earth, why haven't they destroyed us yet?" listen to yourself. have we as humans gotten rid of every mountain on the planet just because we are smarter than big rocks? no!! because they don't pose a threat to us. sure some people die rock climbing or skiing and that's tragic but mountains aren't dangerous to us as a global society. do you see where i am going with this. it's your misplaced hubris that makes you think that humankind is worth destroying to a mushroom. we are a part of the mundane landscape on the surface. we pose no threat to the mycelian era. humble yourself

I...tried to make a meme and got carried away and made A Thing that is like partially unfinished because i spent like 3 hours on it and then got tired.

I think this is mostly scientifically accurate but truth be told, there seems to be relatively little research on succession in regards to lawns specifically (as opposed to like, pastures). I am not exaggerating how bad they are for biodiversity though—recent research has referred to them as "ecological deserts."

Just a hunch here, gop. But I think being 14 and married to a gross older man or dying in a mining accident is a bigger threat to a child than hearing about trans people.

a tweet by twitter account lgbt+ history month that reads "LGBT+ History made today in Spain, with the final approval in parliament of a bill that will:
- provide menstrual leave
- give equal parenting rights to lesbian couples
- introduce self-ID for anyone aged 14+
- ban conversion therapy
- ban unnecessary surgeries on intersex babies" followed by a picture of a spanish flag weaving
a tweet by spain's minister of equality irene montero that reads "YA SON LEY. DIRECTAS AL BOE (THEY ARE LAW. STRAIGHT TO THE STATE'S OFFICIAL BULLETIN)" with the trans flag, rainbow flag and green heart emojis, followed by the hagstag "#ConquistasFeministas (#FeministConquests)" followed by a picture of the minister, a young white woman on her thirties with black hair and black eyes, drapped in a trans flag with a raised fist, which has a green pro choice bandana tied to it

some good news!! the spanish state's ministry of equality has finally passed one of the most progressive trans laws on the planet, shielded free and universal access to abortion and banned conversion therapy and genital surgery for intersex babies, among a lot of other feminist policies. the minister of equality irene montero gave a speech thanking spain's lgtb and trans associations for helping her draft these legislations. couldn't be more proud!!

Are you looking for a way to support the people protesting in Iran?

Zhina Amini (Reported as Mahsa Amini, her birth name) a Kurdish woman was killed earlier this month by the morality police in Iran for wearing a headscarf in what they deemed to be an improper manner. Protests have since broken out across the country and a number of other Iranians have been killed since.

The internet has been shut down in many places and deaths are incredible common. The last time the Iranian government shut down the internet like this, over a thousand people died.

So what can you do?

Share Iranian people’s words and news about what is going on.

Recognize that this is not about Islam but about a tyrannical government (so don’t use this as an excuse to be Islamophobic). These people need our support, not our commentary.

Help support Iranians gain access to proxies through apps like the Tor Project’s Project Snowflake. This will pair you, who is likely in a safer country (I say as someone in the US who assumes much of following is in North America or Europe), with an Iranian person trying to access the internet as long as you are online. This is a really simple step you can take to help Iranians connect to the outside world so they can use their voices and let loved ones know they are alive.
