Derek (Greaseball) was 14 Dinah was 12 and Gale (Greasy) was 3.
One time Derek and Dinah were watching Gale for the day (this was before Di came to town.) And they realized they can’t find Gale. So Derek freaks because he knows his dad will beat him if Gale is gone so they run around the whole house trying to find the toddler Gale. Until Dinah comes across Derek’s bathroom.
Dinah, trying not to laugh: Derek! Get in here!
Derek: What!?
Derek runs in
Derek: Holy shit
There Gale is on the ground, her brother’s hair grease smothered all over her face.
Dinah: She’s like you! A mini Greaseball! Just more Greasy
Derek: damn right she is.
And she’s been called Greasy ever since

Code name: The Mystic
Real name: Daisy Buchanan Barnes
Birth: February 28th. 1944
Status: MISSING
Powers:
Overview
The Mystic gained her powers on October 19th 1957 when coming in contact with the mind stone in her school’s bomb shelter. It is said the 14 year old went crazy from what she saw when she unknowingly touched the stone and ripped her own eyes out of their sockets.
clairvoyance
The Mystic has the faculty of perceiving things or events in the future, though not as straightforward as Doc. Strange. She goes into state, similar to a person coming out of anesthesia, and communicates the future mostly in riddles.
Mediumship
The Mystic has the ability to communicate with the dead. Or have others communicate with the dead by having the soul possess her. While communing with the dead her consciousness is transported to a different dimension where she can see and speak with the dead.
Necromancy
The Mystic has the ability to conjure skeletons of the dead to fight and do her bidding. They all look the same and have no essence of their earthly bodies or memories, They’re mindless soldiers. They are active for as long the Mystic sees fit. She summons them by hitting her fist against the ground 3 times.
Echo location
The Mystic has the ability to navigate and sense her environment using sound waves. She was not originally given the ability, instead she developed it over time to be able to combat her blindness. She uses buzzing magnets to help her, or, simply clapping her hands or clicking her tongue.
STORY
Daisy Buchanan Barnes was born on February 28th 1944 to Elizabeth “Betsy” Fitzcharles-Barnes and James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes. Her father was presumed dead before her birth and her mother died giving birth to her. She lived the majority of her “first” life with her uncle on her mother’s side Thomas Fitzcharles and his wife Elsie in Brooklyn, New York. She was a normal girl, blessed with her mother’s looks and father’s charm she was quickly one of the most popular girls in school.
During her homecoming dance she and her boyfriend snuck away to the bomb shelter to spend some time together. They then came across the Mind stone, the radiation immediately killed her boyfriend but she survived, touching the stone. But from whatever she saw when she touched it and the charred body of her boyfriend caused her to go mad and ripped her own eyes out. Her face above her nose, her arms, and legs were burned badly.
She was found by Agent Carter and Howard Stark of S.H.I.E.L.D. And was placed in a frozen chamber under the Stark expo to keep her alive for 54 years. Agent Carter recognized the girl from the locket, originally worn by Betsy Barnes (A friend of Carter). She was found by Nick Fury in 2010 and, after extensive training, became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. And a member of the Avengers. She lives with Nick and Mrs. Fury, posing as their foster daughter, attends the Manhattan School for the Blind. She is close with Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanov, and Bruce Banner. She doesn’t remember her life before being frozen, it’s all a misty memory to her. She has not been able to age at all since becoming unfrozen, still after two years being the physical/Mental age of 14.
Official Story
Daisy Buchanan Barnes is the foster daughter of Nick Fury and Mrs. Fury. She lost her eyes in a fire when she was 6 years old, her parents died in that fire as well. She gets top grades in the school for the blind and is a model student.
Ladybird Curtis was first annoyed and, if she’s being honest, scared of the rough boy from New York. Until, he one day saved her from a pack of hungry socs when they were 15, then? Ladybird Curtis fell hopelessly in love with Dallas Winston.
Dallas Winston was first intrigued by the doll-like girl, the girl who could spills lies left and right with everyone taking it as truth when they were so obviously lies. Until, she one day bailed him out of jail when they were 13, then? Dallas Winston fell hopelessly in love with Ladybird Curtis.
But Dallas Winston wasn’t made to love, so, he ignored it, suppressed it, thought that there was no way somebody so perfect could love him. Until? Ladybird chased him down after Johnny’s death and begged him to stay with her. Then? Dallas Winston never left his Lady’s side again
Y’all’s daily reminder that Greaseball was kissed by Electra before he was kissed by Dinah.
(IDK where I was going with this post)
Poor Lydia Bennet is a victim, like when she runs away with the disgusting Wickham they were all like “how dare she disgrace the family!” And other crude insults. Like she’s 15!! she’s a BABY. She was literally groomed
do you think di snatches a little snack out the diner for greasy every time she goes over
Totally, Greasy’s favorite is Dinah’s Cherry pie, (Di has tried to make it before but has always failed)
Unpopular opinion
Ryan McCartan’s Gatsby panic attack during ‘only tea’ is more realistic the JJ’s
I LOVE BOTH GATSBYS BUT THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION AS SOMEONE WHOSE HAD MANY A PANIC ATTACKS
I’m writing this book rn about two Actress sisters in the late 70s through early 90s, and here’s the first line in the book.
A child never asks to be born…the mother does, hopefully because the mother loves her child, like how Caroline loved Evangeline. But as Celeste stared down the barrel of her mother’s gun, she suspected her mother had different reasons. Why did this happen? Was it because Caroline told her she wanted to take a break from acting? Or was it because Celeste told her that she was in love with a woman? All she knew was Carmen Rochester would go down in history as the woman who killed her two daughters for saying no.
