The #1 thing telling me that Stancy won't happen is that Nancy and Steve don't TALK to each other at all during the season. Like if we were supposed to believe that a genuine reconnection was happening then where were the scenes of the two of them getting to know each other again? Didn't happen. I feel like this is a combo of their personal relationship problems + other people in their business, the "feelings" aren't real.

Good points! Altho they're clearly showing a connection/spark/flame and then weirdly having other characters talk for them? But agreed, you don't necessarily get how far the feelings go, even as other characters say how far the feelings go. Agreed that for any of this to get sorted out, all these characters would actually need to talk to each other, including most obviously jancy.
