I want to do a series of polls, and for this I need information. Reblog if you consider yourself a part of wormblr.

Guilt sucks, honestly. I hate feeling guilty, especially over nothing. It's not a guilt of "oh I did this thing and that was wrong of me :(" its the guilt of "I feel this way and I feel like I shouldn't". It's a guilt of imagined transgression and I really wish it would stop. Though I cannot tell which way I would prefer more, the guilt to recede and finding satisfaction with my feelings, or my feelings coming to align with the manner I imagine they should, thus eliminating the guilt.

I don't often like sharing feelings like this, in fact venting or exposing my emotions just makes me feel guilty for taking up other people's times or thoughts with my nonsense, but it was a thought looping my mind over and over enough that it required a post.

The good news: you get to pick your new soulmate! (You can define "soulmate" however you want: platonic/romantic/partners in crime/etc. But they will be in your life, constantly.)

The bad news: you don't get to pick where they come from.

Reminds of when I told my coworkers at a past job that I read a lot of fanfic and a couple of them were like "the gay porn?" And I tried to explain that 'fanfiction' includes a lot of well-written fiction stories that aren't necessarily sexual or even romantic...

and also there's some gay porn sometimes but that's neither here nor there

I like reading fanfiction because I like being able to absorb every single part of the media that I am interested in, even if its not written by the creators, not so I can read about my favourite characters banging. Fanfiction ≠ written porn, smh.
