Hello! Please meet the Fidgi Pen!
This pen can give you a secure feeling, as you can stim/fidget with it without people really noticing. (at least that’s what it would do for me!)
Here’s the kickstarter! Can’t wait to see it in stores!
Hello Tumblr, it's been a long time since my last post. I wonder if my followers are still alive... anyone?
The current Gem alphabet as of the second part of this playthrough (for ease, I borrowed the rune chart from the Madoka Magica wiki).
To reiterate, Gems appear to use different characters for the lowercase and capitalized forms of the same letter, and so far only seem to use capital letters at the start of proper pronouns like “My” and names*. In this chart, lowercase letters are on the left, capitalized on the right.
*Edit: The game is inconsistent with whether it uses an apostrophe in a contraction or not (some instances have them, some don’t), and at least one sentence began with a capitalized letter despite the word not being a proper pronoun. I don’t believe this breaks my theory so much as it’s just an inconsistency/mistake by the game devs.
I will be updating this chart regularly.
I don't know if anyone would ever read this, but I would appreciate if you would. Wether you're an anime fan or not, it's alright
😁 Ok, now let's talk about the point of this post. I've always heard about anime for a very long time when I was a kid, but never really had a chance to watch some. The most familiar anime to me was just probably Pokémon. I remember seeing some clips of DBZ, Sailormoon, Naruto and more as a young kid but I barely remember what was happening and what the story was about. Anime was always big and popular, but I don't understand why because I wasn't so fluent at english that time 😆. Wether it'd be subtitled or dubbed, english would still be confusing. My parents would always control/limit my time in watching tv, so that might be the reason why I wasn't so used to watching english shows. At that time, there were more cartoon shows than anime so I was more used to cartoons. I would still see advertisements of some anime shows, but I would just ignore it since I was not that interested in it... Maybe that was missing in my childhood, anime. But I did love watching Pokemon and that one anime with the Dinosaurs and cards something. I started watching some anime shows online maybe when I was 14 years old. Then I immediately fell in love with it. I've continued my love for anime by watching some of the animations, movies, episodes and even reading manga. I also started drawing a few fanarts too.
As far as I know, here are the animes and mangas I've watched or read already:
-Pokémon, which is everyone's favorite
-Naruto(except naruto shippuden) I want to continue watching the next episodes, but I keep on forgetting and I lack motivation ☹
-Attack on Titan
-Kill la Kill
-Little Witch Academia
-Houseki no Kuni/Land of the Lustrous
-Devilman Crybaby
-Boku no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia (Only Season 1 😓)
-Your Name
-A Silent Voice
-Shelter, just a Music Video but I consider it special with excellent art, music and story.
-Children who chase lost voices
-Spirited Away, one of the most depressing ones and stuck in my mind
-Howl's Moving Castle
-Grave of the Fireflies, the sadness of this one still remains in my mind too
-The Cat Returns, I saw the full film as a kid but I don't remember most of the story and plot 😟
Here are some non-anime special mentions that inspired me to start watching anime
-Avatar, The Last Airbender and Korra
-Voltron
Aaand that's probably it. I know, my life is boring and there's probably hundreds or if not thousands more out there better than my list. So, I need your help Anime Lovers. Where do I start, and what can you recommend for me? Your help would be greatly appreciated 😊
Moana storyboards compared to the final movie.
Remember, you can’t have an idol who’s not who the main characters thought they were without a portrait of some kind showing them in all their glory! And who could forget the young kids who looked up to them, who have to fix all the problems they left behind and basically be part of their living legacy?
Ariel and Turtle
Pencil sketch on paper, hope you like it 😊
lol strange even before I saw Steven Universe, when I was a kid I've already had in mind about making my own cartoon about gem people with powers...
Honestly the weirdest thing about the similarities between Steven Universe and Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous) isn’t even that they share oddly similar settings and premises, including:
genderless but feminine presenting humanoid aliens made of gems
who have superhuman strength and immortality
and are good at fighting except they use swords instead of guns or other advanced weaponry for whatever reason
and use these skills to fight off other aliens who periodically invade for mysterious reasons.
also the protagonist starts off as really useless and clumsy but grows stronger and more competent as the series progresses
oh and they both live in big fancy houses on a beach
Yet the weirdest thing about these two series is that judging by when they were released, they developed entirely independent of each other. Rebecca Sugar was already working on Steven Universe in 2011, and Houseki no Kuni was first released in 2012, which means Haruko Ichikawa was likely working on it at the same time. Both authors in two different countries had basically the same idea at around the same time, both entirely independent of the other’s influence. what the fuck
I don't know how many followers do you have, but you deserve WAY more!!!
Aww Thanks 😊 Your positive feedbacks means a lot to me, it inspires and motivates me to do better art.
I'd bath in Diamond Tears
Oh, I'm just an ordinary teen (18/Male) who loves everything about art.
