why is half of fandom culture rn just hate. like everyone’s either talking shit about each other or posting content promoting hate for hc. i’m so sick of the only marauders content im seeing be “what ur least favorite ship” or “what a hc you really hate” or the worst one of all “what a popular fic you really hate”. i’m actually so lost on when we started to allow this to be acceptable fandom etiquette. you guys do realize fanfic is free right? meaning none of these authors owe you anything. the best way i’ve seen it put is “this is content that is shared with you not made for you” by messrsrobyn on tiktok. meaning take a step back remember that this is supposed to be for fun, and sharing opinions and promoting hate are 2 very different things.

been thinking about this lately: au where regulus is remus’ doctor; regulus and sirius have a good relationship and sirius occasionally drops by regulus’ practice to have lunch, only to end up flirting shamelessly and inappropriately for months with his little brother’s big brown eyed patient. on the other hand, however, remus is not to be trusted to go to the doctor by himself, and so how could his over protective best friend james potter ever let him go alone? and oh, isn’t remus’ mean doctor just the most outrageously attractive man he’s ever seen?

Remus on his first day as personal assistant to CEO Sirius Black, fumbling his way around the office as he grabs coffees and client files and organises his meetings, accidentally bumping into him as he comes out of his office and blushing so hard Sirius grins, he finds it adorable, and the two get on so well which pisses the other employees off bc Sirius is pretty hard on them but soft on Remus, but Remus doesn’t notice it at first. Eventually, Sirius starts getting HIM coffee, and buys his lunch for him by telling Remus to order delivery on his personal card, they spent their breaks together chatting and sometimes Sirius’ touches Remus’ arm but it’s professional, he swears, and maybe after some company drinks at a bar Remus gets a little too drunk, and his mouth starts running, and maybe he’s told Sirius how handsome and successful and funny and brilliant he is and Sirius takes him home bc his penthouse is closer, and Remus wakes up the next morning to find himself in a giant, silk sheet bed, hungover and confused, before wandering into the kitchen to see Sirius’ shirtless back as he makes breakfast and Remus has to try not to stare at his pecs and biceps as they eat and and AND—

bartylus being cool and judgy in public but jokingly wrestling and being silly when alone in their dorm, with barty head locking regulus and throwing him around and regulus bouncing on him like a feline because he’s an idiot
