Ah, thank you for replying to my reply! (That sounds a bit silly, sorry.) I was actually afraid that you wouldn’t like my comment but I’m glad that you agree with me. :-)

Now about their relationship, I do agree with you that Sam actually loved Ponk. But judging by their current relationship, I don’t really believe that Sam still sees Ponk as his love interest. I’m sure you knew this but after the arm incident, Sapnap decided to steal the broken keycards, which he did. And Sam knew about this, but he didn’t put Sapnap in a tiny room with lavas and poisonous arrows nor did he cut off his arm. He simply let him got away with it on purpose. Yes, I knew Sapnap despise Dream and would never break him out, but so does Ponk. Yet Sam still tortured him. I like to think that Sam was Irritated by Ponk’s presence and how he keeps complaining that Sam was never with him most of the time. And so that, Sam told Ponk that he wasn’t allowed to steal his keycards (despite them being broken) just to make an excuse to torture Ponk. But other than that I do also digress with your theory that Sam still loves Ponk but just doesn’t know how to express it like he used to. And it is quite depressing how these two keep hurting each other over and over again. ( Though Ponk taking Sam 2nd life was very much deserved. ) Also I actually have read the fan fiction before. And the story was really great too! (Despite almost half of the conversation was from the stream) It’s just that I didn’t understand some parts of it, especially the cold ones. But you have my whole respect since writing stories is hard and that you wrote this for 2 whole months. @creationofacentury

I was working on an awesamponk fic, but it’s just painful- their whole plot is just pain. PAIN EVERYWHERE

It is true that Sam could've had meant it when he complimented Ponk during the banquet. He even left just because Ponk told him to. Although, I still think he didn't regret what he did after the arm incident. And yes, being the warden has technically had devoured Sam's mindset but, Sam had stated that he was in control when he was torturing Ponk and told him that he would do it again if he 'had' to. Though your point is true, Sam was very unstable when he did it. He slowly forgets what it's like being living with a heart and became obsessed with the prison and the role that he ends hurting the people he was supposed to protect. And when Ponk encountered him, Sam even tried to act like everything was okay. Of course that ended with an argument.. Gosh, their relationship makes my head spins to be honest. It's like they still have feelings for one another yet they kill each other mentally, emotionally and physically over and over again. (Their relationship is literally a hate love one.) Also the fan fiction, the one about being a contrast between the lava and Sam’s attitude and Sam’s being the one that hurts more was very intelligent of you! Bravo! :-D @creationofacentury
