Dook LaRue from the Rock-Afire Explosion is so autistic.

1. Needs time to comprehend speech and respond. He'll say "what" if he doesn't know what to say or needs more time to respond. 2. Misinterpreted as rude when he doesn't understand what's happening.

3. Needs specific instructions on what to do or say. In Trivia Night, he got confused when Fatz kept saying his name, without telling him that he was supposed to introduce himself. 4. Stimming. Flaps his ears when happy or excited, or when he hears noise.

5. Always smiling. 6. Outer space is his special interest.

7. Wears space suits all the time. He explained that he's been doing it ever since he was a kid, and he made his own space suit. 8. Misinterpreted as stupid at times.

Shoutout to Munch's Make Believe Band, the RockAfire Explosion, and any other animatronic bands. And all the forgotten OCs. Yall were there for me when people literally slammed doors in front of me while I was crying and begging for help, so I'll be forever thankful.

I'm grateful for the autistic community because seeking support from the professional world as an autistic person is a lot harder than people may realize.

Such a large percentage of the resources go to the parents and families of autistic children to the point where there's almost none left for autistic people.

How do you calm down when excited? (asking for advice)

Okay, so, I figured I'd ask my fellow autistics for advice.

So I may be seeing my special interest irl at some point. But it's like... I physically cannot view content of the special interest without having to jump up and hand flap while running around my room. Even thinking about it triggers it. I just love it so much. It makes me that happy.

But I have no idea how I will manage it in public, while looking at my f***ing special interest right there in my face. I seriously think I'll have a heart attack for something. The happiness will just be... Aggghhhh I can't even explain it in words.

So, what can I do to try to calm myself so I don't explode when I see them? Preferably nothing too obvious because my family will be there and I don't want to embarrass or shock them by stimming. I know I'll be sweating and blushing like mad.

TLDR: I might be seeing something that makes me VERY happy and I need to know ways to calm down that would be somewhat socially acceptable.

So I've been kinda creeping in the background just obsessing over animatronics, but I decided to make an account so I can post about this specific purpose and hopefully make friends with the same interest(not just interest I like really like this). So hi everyone.

Random info about me: So I'm autistic, and Chuck E Cheese/Showbiz/just animatronics in general is my current special interest. Also I don't have any friends currently, mainly because I do online school, so if you wanna be friends PLESE hmu. I will be forever thankful.
