It’s currently 2:12 in the morning on boxing day and im sat in bed holding back tears because i hate you.

I hate how you made me feel like I was the most beautiful and amazing girl in the world and that no one compared to me.

I hate how you would fall asleep on call with me after telling me you love me more than life itself leaving me with a heart full of warmth.

I hate how you put in so much effort to connect and talk to my friends even though you didn’t like them just to see the smile and laugh on my face.

I hate how you would call me petnames like,my princess, sweetheart and baby because it would make me blush and giggle to myself and feel like a little girl being called pretty for the first time in her new poofy dress

I hate how you would take genuine interest in my day and my interests and ask me questions I hadn’t even thought of myself that makes me feel giddy and excited to answer knowing you would judge me, just listen with smile on your face.

I hate how you promised you would come see me when the time was right and make memories with me that I could keep in the necklace I got for us that you never knew about because you left to quick.

I hate how you lied to me and told me she wouldn’t be that part of your life again because she hurt you more than you could ever think of.

I hate how your going to get hurt again and feel the same pain I saw in you when we first met even though I told you to let her go, not for me but for yourself.

I hate how your not there for me to go to after something fun has happened and I need to show someone pictures and something silly my friends did.

I hate how your not there for me to come to when I need to sleep but struggle because your not there to tell me ‘Sweet dreams my princess, I love you more than you will know’.

I hate how you make me feel now that your gone, like theres a hole in my sad little heart no one can fill but you and your stupid curls.

I hate how much I love you after only a short amount of time and how I trusted you to stay with me and not leave without warning like the others.

I hate how it's not hate; it's the ache of missing someone I loved too quickly. Trusting you to break the cycle, to stay when others left abruptly, only deepens the sting. I hate the lingering love after such a brief encounter, the self-loathing for getting attached too easily. In just a week and a bit, you became a tear-stained chapter, leaving me to grapple with emotions that linger far beyond our time together.

So, here I am, torn between hating you for the hurt and missing you despite it all. It's a complex web of emotions, and I grapple with the reality of loving you within a remarkably short time, only to find myself hurt and questioning my own vulnerability. But in the end I just want you to know that I don’t hate you, I just hate who she makes you.

Night Changes

Our Story Masterlist Summary: YN in Harry's part of the Night Changes music video.

“We are at the Natural History Museum…we are doing Harry’s date.” Ben’s voice spoke over clips of Harry skating on the ice and singing to the camera.

“Harry’s taking are girl…who is the camera but also YN…on a date on the ice.” Ben continued to explain, showing a clip of Harry holding up some ice skates.

Another shot of Harry helping YN to skate, one hand held hers whilst the other was on her hip guiding her on the ice, played as Ben asked “What could be more romantic than this in London?”.

“Just prepping the ice.” Harry explained to the camera, before a clip of him sweeping the ice appears, with YN laughing at him and his random behaviour. 

Harry is seen trying to encourage YN to copy him and slide onto the ice on her knees, but she’s not having any of it and continues to hold onto the side of the rink.

“Of course something is always going to go wrong, it’ll probably be because Harry starts showing off.” Ben states as Harry is seen sliding on the ice. “Isn’t that right YN?”.

YN nods, agreeing with Ben. “Yeah..he’s a risk taker...but I can't say any of our dates have ended like this.".

Harry is watching some of the extras, that are being used for the background of the music video. “I’ve just seen someone spin..I thought I’d have a go as well.” Harry speaks to the camera. “I’m gonna try and get YN to do it too…watch this.”.

“I have a feeling it’s all gonna end in tears” Harry predicts before he skates over to where YN is still stood, hands gripped to the edge of the rink. “C’mon trust me.” Harry holds onto YN’s hands and gently guides her over to the middle of the rink. 

In the next clip, Harry is spinning YN in circles as he holds onto both her hands. “I DON’T LIKE THIS!” YN can be heard shouting whilst trying not to laugh at the same time. “Harry! Stop!”. But when Harry doesn’t listen, YN then proceeds to shout “BEN HELP ME!” knowing the director was too nice not to help. 

To YN’s happiness, the next shot the camera is used for the “crash” part of Harry’s scene. Which Ben explains that Harry lifts the girl into the air and they come crashing down which leads to her breaking her ankle and Harry breaking his wrist. 

Harry and YN are sat opposite each other, YN’s ankle covered in a bandage and Harry’s arm is up in a sling. But in true Harry and YN style, they can’t keep a straight face and end up making each other laugh or smile. “Straight face..don’t smile…nice and serious!” Ben instructs Harry who is struggling to do so. But YN doesn’t help the situation as she continue to pull a silly face at him. 

As Harry is sat, surrounded by the paramedics who are “helping”, he yells “Can we get a slice of pizza for YN please!” at the crew, before adding “Or I’m gonna end up in the dog house for breaking her ankle.”. Harry joked, despite it all being part of the act. 

Harry and YN are then huddled together with their thick black coats on, eating pizza as Ben shouts “That’s a wrap…thank you very much!” as he taps Harry on the shoulder.

Summary: You have recuring dreams about eddie, your best friend's, death and you go to your loving boyfriend for help.

Warnings: minor panic attack, death, crying, mentions of funerals, my writing

Steve was fast asleep after a long day’s work when he got woken up by the sound of soft knocks through his window. He slowly opened his eyes and saw you with tears streaming down your face. Steve scrambled himself out of bed, throwing the covers off of him and going over to the window, pulling it open and pulling you into his arms. He stroked your hair as you pull yourself closer to him, whimpering in his arms “shh, shh it’s okay, you’re okay” He whispered to you, pressing a kiss to your temple. “It’s my f-fault, I didn’t- “ You tell him, wrapping your arms around your boyfriend’s neck. You had been having consistent nightmares for weeks ever since that night with Eddie...and the bats. You would wake up in a cold sweat, gasping for air, with tears running down your cheeks. They’re normally bad, but this was the worst one by far. Sou had been trying to stay awake to avoid the dreams and reminders that your best friend was gone, but as soon as you got home from work that day you couldn’t take it and fell asleep on your floor with your book in hand only to be greeted with the same recurring dream. Steve had offered for you to stay at his house till the dreams stopped as he could normally soothe you back into your normal sleep patterns with dreamless sleep, but you declined telling him that ‘you didn’t want to intrude’. “You didn’t do what, baby?” he spoke softly to you, not wanting to upset you anymore than you already were.

“I- I didn’t try to stop him... I didn’t protect him!” You admit to him as your breathing started to pick up again. Steve’s heart broke a little at you, telling him that, looking down at you with saddened eyes, he tucked a piece of your loose hair behind your eyes. “no, Eddie wanted to protect you, that’s why he went to distract them,” Steve told you with a sad smile and pulling your head towards his chest as he knew you liked to listen to his heartbeat. You didn’t say anything and just softly cried into his chest as he stroked your hair and whispered sweet nothings into your ear. You were very grateful to Steve. He was always there for you no matter what and would always calm you down when you needed it.

“Shh, baby, remember what we talked about? In and out, that’s it” Steve showed you that to do feeling you follow along with him and your crying starts to stop and your breathing starts to slow.

“I miss him...” You tell Steve weakly as you had now stopped crying and were now just liking Steve’s touch. “Shh, know you do baby, we all do..” Steve sighed, kissing your temple once again

“His funeral’s coming up, i dont know if anyone’s gonna come..” You sigh softly into steve’s shirt

“I know, at least he’ll have all the people who actually care about him there instead of a bunch of nobody’s, right?” Steve asked, looking down at you a little, getting a nod in return from you.

“Yeah that’s true, he didn’t like many people anyways… I have to write a speech for it and i dont know what to say.”

“I think you should just speak from the heart, share a few memories? You know, that sorta’ stuff!” 

“Yeah, yeah, he’d like that.” You nodded to yourself, agreeing with Steve and his ideas.

“I think I’m gonna wear that tux you like, but Eddie did say that it looked stupid,” Steve chuckled, thinking back to the memory. “He didn’t think you looked stupid, he was only making fun,” You told Steve, smiling up at him and joining in on the laughter.

“What are you thinking about wearing?” Steve asked, tilting his head slightly.

You think for a moment; you had been tossing between ideas for a while now but none seemed as perfect as one.

You smiled saying to Steve, “You know that little black dress he always liked? The one he said I had to take off before our first date because ‘it was too scandalous’? Think i might tease him with that one” 

“That is such a good idea, he’d hate us” You both laugh together remembering your friend.

After a few moments of silence you speak up, “I’m so tired..can we go to sleep?”

Stevenodded to you and picked you up and took you over to his bed and set you down softly where you fell asleep almost instantly.

Steve looked at you with loving yet sad eyes, he hated that you had to feel like this. You had just lost your best friend of sixteen years and no one knew the real reason other than the party and everyone involved in the incident a few weeks back.

“I love you baby, he loves you too..I know he’s so proud of you..and so am I.” Steve whispered as he drifted off with you.

[Bucky Barnes] set of 2 - part 1

Summary: first part of the story about the friendship between you and Bucky.

"YN? What are you doing here?"

"You didn't answer my calls," you said, entering Bucky's apartment without hesitation and giving him a bump on the shoulders.

"What part of 'blocked' didn't you understand?" Bucky asked while closing the door. Of course, you'd come over. Over the past months, you slept at Bucky's place almost every night. At first, you created the stupidest excuses to stay there, but with time it wasn't even necessary. Bucky knew it was because of his daily nightmares, but you never said anything. Not even when he screamed and woke up scared. You never said anything, just stayed by his side. You never touched him, just sat by his side. Bucky never told you to go home and never asked you to stay either. He always let you do whatever you wanted. Deep inside, he felt so scared you'd go and not come back the day before, but you always did. There was this day where you waited for him by his door, but Bucky didn't show up. You called, but he didn't answer, so you called Sam. It was the day Bucky got beaten by some agents who never accepted that Bucky was on their side now, that he was an Avenger too.

You asked Sam to pass the phone to Bucky and asked if he wanted you to go where he was, but he only grumbled a 'whatever' and gave the phone back to Sam.

You went after him and sat on the ground by the bed where he was. Sam offered you to sleep on the couch, but you declined, resolute to stay with Bucky. You didn't ask him about what happened and he didn't say anything.

One day, you didn't show up and Bucky noted your absence. He rested his back against the wall outside his apartment and waited, but you didn't show up. He had your name saved on his phone as 'Doll', so he called, but you didn't pick up. Bucky didn't know where you lived, and it was then that he noticed how much of an ungrateful moron he was. You were always there for him, always talking and talking, sometimes it made him insane, but you were always present. He noticed how you could talk for hours about anything, but you never said anything when he had a nightmare. You never asked or said anything in comfort. You never said things would be okay or that he was safe now, that he wasn't the Winter Soldier anymore or that Hydra would never come after him again. Instead, you did so much more: you let your actions show him that you cared. He wasn't alone.

That day he called Sam and made the new captain track down your phone only to find out you were in jail. Why? You heard two men at the bar speaking about this 'piece of shit' who called himself Winter Soldier and was nothing more than a sellout that killed hundreds and had the hypocrisy of blaming others for his actions. In your defense, you did give them the chance to speak before kicking both men in the balls.

"He must have a big ass cock for you to defend a piece of trash, you stupid ungrateful bitch."

And that was when you kicked their balls and punched them in the throat. Bucky did a good job in training you.

Bucky arrived there in minutes with his motorcycle, but his morals weren't that great to get you out, so he sat by your cell and waited for Sam. You didn't say hello or ask why he was there, instead you let him stay. No need to say how pissed Sam was when he found Bucky Barnes and his poor excuse of a sidekick in the jail. And that's how your friendship was formed, never talking when things got too bad, but never leaving. A silent promise of devotion.
