I have to get it out. It's been like 9 months since my binge rewatch of Neon Genesis Evangelion. I'm not going to say that transitioning would've 100% saved Shinji, but it would kill Gendo instantly. This cartoon has been a Halloween tradition of mine since it first aired in 1966 on network TV.  For decades kids enjoyed this for free.

So it infuriates me that now the only people who can see it have to pay for streaming or the DVD.  I can't even afford streaming.
