For the last four years, I’ve held down the same job working graveyard (or Noc shift) at a care facility. At times it can be really fun! Especially with my last shift partners, we had a lot in common and laughed a lot. She made the shift fun, she made my job bearable. However, for the last three months I’ve had a different partner who I can’t count on and slowly, my mental health has dropped. More so because of the lack of sleeping during the night and having the energy to be with friends in my free time. There’s not much to say besides I’m tired, so so tired. Tired enough that I’ll cry in my car or stay in bed all day… if I didn’t need the money to live, I would quit in a heartbeat.

After Adrien’s hundredth ‘lets not stand up for Marinette’, ‘be nice to your bully’, and/or ‘Chloe won’t change’ moment, Marinette starts making all her designs include feathers. Just some petty revenge

He just takes the feathers off refusing to sink that low

Gabriel gives Adrien a bird as a pet as he ruined Marinette’s design.

Adrien cooks quail for dinner. Gabriel is completely horrified until he realises it wasn’t the bird he gifted

Marinette points out if Gabriel had spent more time raising his kid then perhaps Adrien wouldn’t pull such dark pranks. She then criticises the quail for being over salted

Marinette: Seriously, Adrien, I know I get petty about how you treat me but if Chloe really is your friend you need to talk to her more. Especially of the way her mum treats her

Marinette: No. I already have a name tag for her with the name Claudette

Gabriel: Grounded again for missing classes? Adrien get a restraining order on you for the stalking? Always being late?

Marinette: No, there’s this really nice guy called Luka who asked me out and I want to give him a shot. I may have the start of feelings. I want to explore it.

Gabriel: But…but you love Adrien

Marinette: Well, he never noticed and never really stood up for me much, plus put bullies’ feelings ahead of mine. Luka just seems to understand. He’s patient, gentle, and all around a genuine nice guy. He’s the one who went ice skating with Adrien, Kagami, and I. Whenever I fell he was there.

Gabriel: I forbid it

Marinette: You aren’t my father though?

Gabriel: Nathalie get in here. Tell Marinette she’s not allowed to date Luka

Nathalie: I’ve organised your schedule and oops sorry, Luka’s not on it.

Marinette: I don’t think you have that power. Luka-

Nathalie: That name is banned in our house

Marinette: I’m still going to a Jagged Stone concert with him

Nathalie: No. I just bought all the tickets. None left

Marinette: I already purchased them

Gabriel: I will fly you to New York for a fashion show if you don’t go to that concert

Marinette: Counter proposal, I go and rather than get upset at me you get upset at your son for ruining your plans that he never even agreed to or knew of

Gabriel and Nathalie then spend the rest of the day trying to figure out ways to stop the date.

Gabriel: Nathalie…I think we’ve made an error in our plan. How do we fix this?

Nathalie: What if we akumatise Luka?

Gabriel: Tried that. He’s too mellow and understanding. Wouldn’t even hurt a fly.

Nathalie: Akumatise Marinette?

Gabriel: Never happening

Nathalie: Chat calls her princess right? Akumatise the cat.

Gabriel: You really think that would work?

Nathalie: I’ll make it.

Why Lukanette deserves recognition:

He cheered Marinette the FIRST TIME they met and gave her one of his guitar picks which I think is the sweetest form of love.

Marinette is able to communicate with Luka a lot better than Adrien. She may still stutter but she’s able to still have a normal conversation with him. AND LUKA DOES NOT EVEN MIND HER STUTTERING. HE FUCKING LOVES HER LIKE THAT.

They’re literally a balanced as fuck couple. They’re like ying and yang.

Luka said Marinette is literally the song inside his head since the day they met aND IF THAT IS NOT THE SWEETEST THING ANYONE HAS EVER SAID I-

They’re literally the cutest when they’re angry

Luka is a pure sweetheart.

HE WAS AKUMATIZED BUT DIDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT HURTING MARINETTE.

Marinette is literally Luka’s peace. He probably thinks about her and just feel calm and happy.

I would just like to add…

Luka expresses his feelings towards Marinette to let her know how he felt towards her and what she means to him. Even if she ended up with Adrien, he needed to let her know that she was someone important in his life and that whatever she decides, he’ll always be there.

Cana: Only slash three tires because if you slash all four tires insurance will cover it but they won’t if you only slash three.

Levy: That’s literally not true. It could serve to establish in court that you were slashing their tires to cause maximum financial damage as apposed to emotional rage. Slash all their tires, because fuck ‘em.

Lucy: Slash two tires diagonally opposite to eachother. No one ever has more than one spare, it’s impossible to get up on jacks, and trying to drive it will destroy the undercarriage of the car as it rocks back and forth and slams into the ground.

Freed: Don’t fucking slash tires. They’re under insane amounts of pressure and putting a knife between yourself and an exploding tire is a bad idea. Just get a pair of clippers and cut the valve stem to cause an unfixable leak, like a normal person.

Laxus: Also spark plugs will instantly shatter glass if you throw them even moderately hard.
