You are extremely tired. Being mistreated, humiliated and talked down on the daily takes a toll on your body and you finally break down. There's not many people that would help you as you grieve the life you've lost and the life you might lose. But maybe some of them care about you more than you think.
Or: you decide to disappear for a while and some jerks miss you, part one. This will be a series~
You didn’t ask for any of that.
You didn’t ask for the dangers, the insults, the threats, the disrespect.
Funny, there used to be a time in your life in which you’d be thrilled at the idea of a magical world, hidden from most people. You’d run away from reality inside your mind and make yourself the main character of a world in which people could blast magic from their fingertips and, somehow you, plain old you, would attract the attention of the most powerful and most beautiful person in that world. And then something something happily ever after.
You’d never guess that the middle - the “something something” you’d skip thinking about, so you could jump into the end of the story where the happiness is already yours - was the worst part of everything. And that there was no beautiful, powerful person coming to sweep you off your feet and save you from all the hurt.
In fact, the most beautiful and most powerful were the ones hurting you the most.
You scoffed.
If they ever swept you off your feet, it would be to knock you down in the mud and let you fester there, alone.
You looked at your phone, grasping it tightly. It was pinging and pinging nonstop. Messages from Romeo and Jin, you’d guess, but you didn’t even want to look at the bland stock wallpaper of that phone that wasn’t truly your own.
You wondered for a second what happened with all your belongings when you got to the Academy. Everything was ripped from you and you didn’t even know why. You couldn’t log into your personal, old accounts and you couldn’t contact anyone you knew before. It was all gone.
You were plucked from your own life, like someone would pluck an infesting weed.
You wondered if anyone thought of you. Your family, your friends. Did the anomaly erase their memories of you? Did it take that away from you as well? Or was everyone thinking you vanished without a trace, your parents begging the police to find you and your friends sadly looking at the spot you used to sit at in your classroom, reminiscing about the things you used to like as if you were gone forever. And maybe you truly were.
You didn't know which was worse.
Suddenly, an idea popped into your head. You couldn’t log into your old accounts, but maybe you could try to look at them, as a guest.
You sat upright against a large tree in the middle of Jabberwock’s field.
You were hiding in there, being the only space in which you could feel safe and be left to your own devices.
Hotarubi was also welcoming, but you knew how Zenji would fret over you feeling depressed. Obscuary would also welcome you, but Lyca would never leave you alone, much less give you any space, if he knew you were sad like that.
Meanwhile, in Jabberwock, Haru was too busy, Towa wouldn’t speak because it was daylight and Ren was too emotionally constipated to feel like dealing with you, if he ever stumbled upon you there - which he wouldn’t. So Jabberwock it was.
You typed your old Twitter user on the search bar, feeling a wave of bitter nostalgia as you looked at the name that used to be so intertwined with your life. The page loaded slowly, since you were in the middle of nowhere and the internet was almost just a suggestion; and as the loading bar grew, your stomach churned inside of you, an uncomfortable feeling in the back of your throat setting in and reminding you that doing that was probably a very bad idea.
When you were about to close the tab, the page finished loading.
You were met with your old profile page. The already small following count seemed to be even smaller - people probably unfollowed you after all those weeks of inactivity - but that was barely registered on your mind. What caught your attention was the last tweet you had posted:
“Going to see the last show of my favorite band before they disband… this is the most tragic thing to ever happen in my life”
You blinked slowly, reading and re-reading the tweet you had posted on that accursed September 3rd in a loop.
And then you laughed.
You rested your head on your hands, phone flush against your forehead, and you laughed loudly, like you had just heard the funniest joke in the entire world.
And when the lump in your throat became too much for you to ignore, the laughter became a scream.
You screamed and screamed and screamed, as tears fell from your eyes in an endless flow.
You wailed like you hadn’t allowed yourself to do for all the time you’ve been in Darkwick. The grief came crashing down onto you mercilessly and you felt like you were drowning. You felt how your throat got hurt as you screamed, but the pain was nothing next to the weight of everything you had lost and everything you were going through.
You choked with your own saliva, retching painfully and feeling the metallic taste of blood, but the tears just wouldn't stop. You fell forward, curling into yourself and looked at the phone in your hand.
The irony of that tweet, the foreshadowing, was simply too much for you to handle.
You wanted to go back.
You needed to go back to that time in which the saddest thing happening to you was a stupid band disbanding.
You desperately wanted to go back to a time in which you didn’t have power hungry men insulting and humiliating you like you were lesser than human, calling you a servant, or a worm, or a bitch.
When you didn’t have a crazed psychopath threatening your life with a gun to your temple or a knife to your throat.
When you didn’t have a guillotine hanging upon your head every single moment of your life, tick-tocking with the reminder of your imminent death.
You watched your tears fall to the grass, alongside the drool from your lips as you kept on crying loudly. It felt like it would never stop. You had too many tears long unshed to be able to stop, even if your throat was destroyed at this point, with how much you screamed.
The sound of grass being quickly stomped reached your ears for a moment, but you felt too weak to look up. You just kept on crying and moaning, now that your voice was almost gone.
A hesitant hand touched your back.
“Dandelion?” Towa’s voice reached your ears and you jerked up, flinching at his touch.
He was crouched right before you and you watched as his eyes widened and his eyebrows knitted together, concern being clear on his face. You were probably a dreadful sight at that moment.
“Towa…” you tried to say but your voice sounded raspy and barely audible.
His hands gently rested on your shoulders as he kneeled. “What happened, Dandelion?”
You noticed how he was talking despite it being daylight outside. The sincerity of his worry and his touch made the tears quickly come back, and you realized how starved of comfort and gentleness you were.
You shaking hands grasped his shirt and you slowly pulled him towards you, silently asking for a hug. Towa immediately complied, shifting his position so he could hold you.
This time, your tears were silent. You sniffed and cried quietly, wetting the fabric of Towa’s clothes as he held you close, hands tracing circles on your back.
Despite Towa’s unpredictable nature, he was patient. You knew that meant a lot. He liked you enough to stay still and let you cry without explaining yourself.
After a while, you began feeling self-conscious about being a bother and you forced yourself to untangle from his embrace, sniffling and rubbing your puffy eyes. His hands followed you and he kept his tight hold on your arms.
“I’m sorry I cried so much.” you whispered.
Towa shook his head and his eyes still glinted with worry.
“What happened?” he repeated.
Your lips quivered, but you swallowed the tears, feeling the burn in your throat.
“I’m tired.” you said, looking down. He hummed, not really satisfied with your short answer.
“I heard you scream. You’re so far away from our house, it took me some time to find you. I thought you were getting killed.” he leaned down, trying to keep his face in your field of view, and he looked as sad as he possibly could.
You chuckled humorlessly.
“I’m sorry. It’s just… Today was too much.”
Towa stayed in that awkward position, and he blinked at you, patiently waiting for you to continue and you realized he wouldn’t just let you keep things to yourself.
You sighed, which came out with a ragged sound since your nose was stuffy, and straightened your back so he could change his position.
“Not everybody is like you or Haru. Most people are very mean in this place. And I’m sick of it. They hurt me intentionally even though I did nothing wrong. I'm tired of it” you tried summing it up as best as you could, because you knew you would probably cry again if you told him how terribly you had been treated on that specific day and why it was the straw the broke the camel's back.
He nodded.
“Yes, only Haru is nice. And you, Dandelion!” he smiled.
You smiled weakly, for what felt like the first time in a lifetime.
“Thank you, Towa. I really like you.”
Towa beamed at your words, hands gliding down your arms to hold your hands tightly.
“I love you, Dandelion!” he said, happily.
You knew he didn’t really mean it. Towa was, for some reason, obsessed with love and romance and you were pretty sure he would say it to anyone he liked. It did feel good to hear this after being so beaten down, though.
His face suddenly fell and he frowned.
“Let’s go to our house. You look sick. We can ask Haru to help you feel better!” he said, getting up and pulling you with him.
You knew there wasn’t any way to convince Towa to just let you be once he decided something, so you let him lead the way, taking clumsy steps behind him as you tried to find the strength to walk properly again.

GETO WAS SO SCANDALISED LMAOAOAOAO
Featuring: Geto Suguru, Fushiguro Toji, Satoru Gojo, Nanami Kento, Kamo Choso and Ryomen Sukuna.
Geto Suguru
Crack!
The sound of your hand making contact with his behind was loud and obscene. His eyes widen as he surges forward from the force, hands grabbing the counter in front of him for support.
He whips his head in your direction, glaring at you with a mixture of disbelief and exasperation.
"What the fu-".
"What? so you can do it to me but I can't do it to you?" You snicker, the glimmer in your eye and the way you struggle to contain your laughter all too familiar.
Satoru.
Geto sighed, his hand moving to rub his sore behind. He glared at you once again, mentally noting to stop you from hanging out with the white-haired menace so frequently. His idiocy was clearly rubbing off on you.
Fushiguro Toji
Toji watches in amusement as you recoil, shaking your hand around in pain.
"What the hell are your glutes made of? metal?!"
Toji only grinned ominously as he got up from his seat, setting down his chopsticks. He stretched his arms over his head, joints cracking as he started to warm up.
"Toji...what are you doing..."
He looks up in mock confusion "isn't it my turn?"
"No!..." You squeal, running down the hall away from him. Toji's payback was always 10x what you inflicted.
"Don't start what you can't finish doll..." he chuckles before taking after you with inhumane speed.
Satoru Gojo
Satoru grins and shoves his ass out more, arching his back and making an obscene moaning sound.
"What the fuck is wrong with you" you laugh, half amused, half disturbed.
"Me? You're the one going around and smacking people's butts little lady. What's wrong with you?"
You watch him as he stands upright again, adjusting his shades.
You hum "Not everyone's, just yours."
"Ah...so you admit my derriere had a certain... appeal..." he grins, pulling his glasses down and smiling at you seductively.
You groan, getting up and heading out the room. This was a mistake, Satoru was obviously a shameless freak.
He chuckles chasing after you. "Hey wait! What about round two?..."
Nanami Kento
Nanami's breath gets caught in his throat when he feels your hand land harshly on his behind. He stiffens, glaring into the distance in mortification.
You broke into laughter, covering your mouth before quickly moving to pull him into a hug. "Oh ken...I'm so sorry"
He glances down at you, watching how you're unable to catch your breath from laughing despite being 'sorry'.
His shoulders relaxed despite his embarrassment, and he slowly hugged you back.
He was used to your behaviour by now. Now he was too busy wondering how that delicate hand of yours packed such a punch.
"Yes very funny, I'll have to get you back for that though sweetheart."
Kamo Choso
Leave this poor baby alone omg.
Choso's eyes widen in horror when you smack his ass. He turns around slowly, looking at you in such terror that you can't help but burst out laughing.
He laughs along with you in fear "ha...ha ha...ha" before quickly dashing out the door. "I have to go."
"Choso wait!-" but he's long gone, now you feel worried. Choso was new to a lot of things and you've most likely just terrified him. You sigh, picking up your phone to call him, hoping he'll pick.
Yuji stares at Choso in confusion and growing anger as he explains that you suddenly hit him and that he doesn't know what to do. Yuji is confused because he's never known you to be the violent type.
"Wait, where’d she hit you, Cho?..." Choso flushes at Yuji's question, slowly pointing to his butt.
"Here..."
Yuji can't help himself when he bursts into laughter, here he was thinking you were abusing his brother but you were just being kinky.
Choso returns later that night much to your relief. You jump up, hugging him tightly and apologising profusely when he suddenly smiles and pulls away.
"Its ok lovie...I understand now"
You sigh in relief.
"You're a freak..." He smiles innocently at you, repeating Yuji's earlier words to him, unaware of the connotations.
"...You know what?...yeah"
Ryomen Sukuna
You were currently stuffed in the linen closet, a hand slapped over your mouth to prevent your whimpers of fear from escaping.
What on earth was happening you ask? Well you were hiding from Sukuna because you had the bright idea inspired by a cursed tiktok to smack him on the butt.
You could hear his psychotic laughs of delight as he stomped through the house, looking for you.
He most likely knew where you were but was enjoying this twisted game of chase.
"Oh y/n...come out come out wherever you are..."
Your suspicions were confirmed when he ripped the door open to your hiding space open, lunging toward you.
You shrieked in terror as he grabbed you and hoisted you over his shoulder. Despite the fact that he just spent the last 5 minutes hunting you down like a maniac, Sukuna would never actually lay a finger on you...in a capacity to harm anyway.
He lands a playful retaliation smack as he stalks towards the bedroom with you still slung helplessly over his shoulder.
"My turn..."
Why're boys so jumpy when you smack their butts🙄 they be walking around all caked up too🙄🙄

Hidden from sight
Synopsis: In a state of humiliation, you attempt to hide an injury from your master, Sukuna, this, of course, does not go to plan.
〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰
Foolish.
That, you were sure, was what Lord Sukuna would call you when you returned to the estate.
He was a harsh, and strict man. He never liked for you to stray from his presence too long, and more than anything else, he was mean. He said what he wanted, and always meant it.
You had begged the king of curses to allow you a day amongst the townsfolk, a day to explore the gardens outside of Sukunas domain, a day to see and hear and feel the world you so rarely saw.
The king, of course, was not too keen on this. You were not a member of kitchen staff, or a concubine, or a groundskeeper either. Like many people on the compound, you were simply a servant to the king. Yet, your relationship was not one that could be compared to your peers.
Beloved to the king, perhaps being too strong of a word. You were special to him, however. He expected your attendance at his meals or downtime. One might think you were close, but the truth of the matter was:
You hardly knew the king.
And he barely spoke to you either.
You had come to the palace an adult, knowing little of the king's mannerisms. Meeting him on rare occasions proved a thrilling experience. He was unlike any man you had ever met.
One evening, your presence was needed in the bath chamber. You had been told to assist in the cleaning of your king. Nonplussed as you were, you pled your case. An uninformed and inexperienced launderer. You were in no position to touch the king, too dirty yourself to even wish for such a position.
Having been told to never deny the king of anything he demanded, you were certain the response would not be one of pleasure. You escaped that day unscathed, a mere,
"Then depart from my sight"
Uttered from him, eyes closed, hand shooing you away.
But time passed and with the phases of the moon, so too did your relationship with the king alter. Night after night you grew more and more certain the king was calling for you directly. You grew acquainted with the king, with his bloodthirsty antics, with his unforgiving nature, with his intolerance for rebellion.
You served him through it all.
Twas' your job.
A launderer.
A foot servant for your employer.
You were sure, he would not be forgiving if you returned to his estate in such disarray. Only having warned you to be mindful a mere two hours prior, you limped from the ache in the side of your pelvis.
Your feet shook on the uneven ground beneath you. You had only just left the village you so desired to see, basket in hand full of goods to bring to your fellow maids. Evening was falling and the memory of the king's warning flooded your mind.
As you had made the trek back, the sight of a deer in the woods had shocked you. Certain you were looking at a curse, you gasped, lunged for cover, and promptly tripped over a stone lining the path through the woods.
Too eager to protect the contents of your basket your hands had been too occupied to catch your weight. You were certain there were scratched on your knees, but the real pain came from just above your hip, where an ill-placed stone had bludgeoned your flesh.
Dark red sept through your kimono, it had never looked so much like your kings. But he would not be pleased. Of this you were sure.
Foolish.
Too easily frightened.
Weak.
You knew little of Lord Sukuna's vast abilities. One thing you knew for certain was that the king had the ability to feel the souls of those around him. He knew when someone was guilty when someone was excited and fearful. He could sense it as if he was feeling those things himself. For this reason, before drawing too close to the palace gates, you steadied your heart and mind, reaching for peace as to not alert Sukuna of your presence so soon.
You went first to the washhouse, and rid yourself of the filthy clothes. After which, you were at once able to see the depth of your injuries. It had hurt, your way back to the palace, but after seeing them for what they were, you had to fight to keep the spike of panic from rising. How could you hide this? Hide it from him?
You wash your kimono of the coppery smell, disposing of it behind a pile of extra wash bins. You occupy your hands by dabbing at the open wound, wrapping yourself in a linen cloth, and dressing in one of the extra cleaning uniforms.
You were so caught up in walking in a straight line back to the estate, you almost forgot your gifts and whine out at the thought of making the trip back to the wash house. But you steel yourself and do it.
By the time you make it to the kitchens, it is far later than you intended. You simply drop the basket off on a staff table, wobbling to your chambers.
All you want is to sleep, to hide yourself from all the noises of the estate night shift, but the throbbing pain in your side is intense, and worse, you've bled through both your linen bandage as well as a laundry uniform. Even so, you are too tired to come up with a way to right this, you decide, that will be the job of tomorrow y/n.
-
Of course, when you arise the next morning, unable to sit up, you regret your choices of the night prior. Unintentionally a wail escapes your lips, the pain is so deep, so unchanging that you want to cry. You feel the humiliation once again from yesterday, what would Sukuna say if he knew of this? Would he remove you from the estate? Or would he simply look at you with disgust? Would he ever speak to you again?
Something you were sure of, at least, was that there was no way you would be able to work, bent over a wash basin, in the condition you are in. Knowing that, you were concerned with how long you could hide away in your chambers before someone came to get you.
Several maids had already come to speak through your door, asking about your trip, the basket of goodies you left in the kitchen, and eventually, in concerned tones, if you were alright.
You reassured them in a comforting voice that you were quite well but exhausted from your journey and would likely retire before dinner was served.
You had never been up however, still, the other launderers did not question your words, sure you just needed a nights more rest. There was, however, a person in the estate you could never evade, and contrary to popular belief, it was not Lord Sukuna. He certainly did not care enough for you to need to hide yourself from him, however, his loyal servant and chef, Uraume, always had everything in order and was aware of all the "goings on" that occurred within the estate walls.
Only a few minutes after the communal dinner bell was rung did Uraume arrive at your chambers, requesting your presence. Unfortunately, they were not so easy to dissuade. I have no appetite did not work, I long for rest, did not work, I tire from my journey, did not work. None of it worked. They were determined, if nothing else, to see you. There was nothing to be done.
In a grand effort, you slid from your bed to the floor, a dull moan muffled by the mattress as you strained your legs to rise but it was a tireless endeavor. Wincing, you shuddered to the door, opened it a crack to meet th Uraume's stern eyes.
"You are unwell." They announced.
You knew you could not lie, not directly. Still, you attempted to fib your way around it, claiming your menstrual cycle was nearing, but it did not work, claiming you had eaten something foul in the village, they merely squinted at you, you were blundering, grasping for straws. In your desperation, you did not notice Uraume's foot slip out to the threshold, slowly pressing your door ajar.
You had been resting your weight said door, and yelped at the pressure. The chef raised an eyebrow and pressed on more firmly. You called out their name and stumbled to the floor.
"You've been attacked?" They question but the pain is so intense you can simply shake your head, in a show of patience you rarely see from Uraume, they brush the hair from your face.
You knew they could use reversed curse technique on themself, but the management of this injury was something that would likely take time.
In the moments it took Uraume to lift you to your bed, and start to clean your wound they had you recount the story, in between each sentence you begged them to keep this from the king. Do not say a word, I beg, followed by, I pray you wouldn't speak of this, ending your story with Lord Sukuna mustn't know.
Even with all the begging, they never once promised you a thing. Pressing your gouged pelvis more firmly still, they wiped your eyes of tears. And when you finally met their gaze, their look seemed to whisper, do not be stupid. You could only hope.
-
Your hope had been stupid.
You knew it had been last night when Uraume had bandaged you up, you knew it had been when you fought to dress yourself this morning, you knew it had been when you trudged to the wash house, you knew it had been when you began to set up a bin full of sudsy water and even now, bent painfully over, scrubbing away at towels, you knew of your fate.
You had been invited to dine with the king. Once dismissing yourself for not being worthy to wash your king's body had been shockingly, acceptable at one time. But you knew you could not skirt this. You could not deny your presence to him twice.
And in his presence, you knew you could not hide. Uraume had been the one to collect you before the evening meal, washing you, clothing you, and redressing your wound. You walked with intention now, three steps behind the personal chef to the king. You found, however, that you would not be having dinner in one of the many dining rooms, but rather, in the kings chambers.
In an attempt to plead once more, you made to grab Uraumes robe, they simply gave you a look of greatest disdain, opened the door to Sukunas chambers, and bowed.
You could not meet his eyes, you could feel them as they traced over you. Despite the fiery pain, you fell to your knees. You did not speak, Uraume left, and you stayed glued to the floor.
"I hold no affection for those who hide from me."
You could do nothing but nod in your place on the floor. "Yes, my king."
"You know this."
"Yes, my king." You nod again,
"And yet-" You can hear his voice ever louder, he has gotten up from his place on the bed, coming to you, his steps echoing in your ears. "You evade me like an elusive snake." He paces around you steadily. "You hide yourself from my presence, and you beg" He spits it out, vehement, "beg- Uraume to keep your condition from me."
He has stalked behind you now, and begins to creep ever closer to your side, bending to your position to whisper in your ear,
"Did you believe I could not find you, did you think, even for a moment, you could fool me?" You cannot read his tone, nor his face, too ashamed to look.
He stretches back to his full height. "You have always been the one who's appearance I delight most in. Yet, now, you only appear at my demand. Must I demand you to speak as well in order for you to tell me why you have shamed me so?"
Shaking your head quickly, you heave, "I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I did not want to- to show you-" You began but Sukuna cuts you off, whirling around,
"That much is very clear. Tell me why without the blabbering nonsense. I wish not to hear apologies fall from your lips now."
You murmur once more, ashamed, but speak up, "I am such a fool." You look up, resigning yourself, you want to see his face, "I wished not for you to see me as such. I am a weak and poor worker. Please, know, I did not mean to shame you."
Sukuna does not respond. Silently making his way to your form, "You cannot even stand on your own. Do you intend to lay there all night, or do you expect aid to be granted to you?"
He sounds genuinely curious, you are unsure of what to say, you had no plan. Your head falls to your lap but in a sudden movement, Sukuna is before you, one arm stretched out to catch your crestfallen face, "Look at me." He speaks gentler than you have ever heard.
With one hand on your jaw, and another cupping the back of your head he huffs air from his nose. "You are a fool."
You cannot look away from him, but all you want now is to hide your face.
"So very foolish." He speaks clearly, "To hide from me, to work in such a condition." Before his words even hit you, you are struck but the grasping of your waist by his other two hands. His eyes remain open but within a moment all your pain is gone. An unintentional noise escapes you at the immediate relief you are brought.
It cannot be said whether the shock of Sukunas RCT or the grasp he had on you caused you to fall limply into his grasp but you have no time to prepare before he is lifting you tenderly into his arms. An unseen sparkle in his eyes. He carries you the few feet to his bed before he lays you across his lap.
"Your condition is not ideal. You shall not work. You are to stay with me" He is petting your hair rather oddly, as if you are a wounded animal he has found.
Attempting to rise you start, "I feel- I- I must extend my gratitude-"
But he is placing a hand on your stomach to keep you down, "You will extend your gratitude by never hiding from me again."
There is no room for argument. You nod up at him. He has one arm still under your knees, another on your waist, and a third stroking your cheek.
"I will never allow you pain again." He murmurs. "Never again." His palm is large enough to cover your face wholly. "I shall keep you within my sight henceforth."
And it is at this moment that you wonder if, perhaps, you are closer to the king than you had originally thought. If you, by chance, meant something to him? If he had been worried for you. But in your dazed state within your king's arms, you smile to yourself, thinking tiredly of how kindly and merciful he had always been to you.
What you did not yet know, was that it was he that was a fool for you.

Real this is what me and my friends would do
They’re stupid
This is going to be the start of a new obsession
Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six Part Seven
Summary: Takes place after the androids gain freedom. Connor continues working with Hank at the police station, trying to adjust to his new emotions when Hank’s old partner, a bright young detective who is close with Hank returns and Connor becomes enamored with her. Connor x reader, lots of fluff, smut in later chapters ;)
A/N: This is my first time posting a fic here so any feedback to better it is welcome! Thanks if you read through it, I hope it makes you smile or at least exhale out of your nose.
“Hank!” A light voice called out across the police station. The Lt. looked around for a moment, clutching his head that no doubt was thumping with a hangover. But, his eyes that were squinted in annoyance at the sound of his name being called opened wide, and a grin spread across his face in a way Connor had never seen before, he found it fascinating how fast the Lt’s mood had shifted.
Not as fascinating it seemed to Connor’s now buzzing circuitry as the young woman who just walked in.
“Y/N!” Hank replied cheerily. He practically leaped up from his desk chair to wrap you in a bear hug. Hank pulled away and held you by the shoulders to look you over.
“Look at you! I heard you made detective already!” He said proudly.
“I did! And as it turns, I convinced the Captain at my other station that I would be most useful detecting things back home.” You smiled. Connor sat awkwardly across from Hank’s desk, observing the interaction as if he were watching a scene on a Tv show, and he couldn’t take his eyes off of the lead actress. His eyes traveled across your body, down your back, and over the curves there, he began to memorize your shape, you were a petite young woman, but you seemed to carry the confidence of a man twice your size with the way you carried yourself. Your eyes glanced up to meet Connors briefly before focusing back on Hank, the passing moment caused him to conduct an additional maintenance check on his thirium pump, it seemed to stutter when you looked at him. Connor noticed a slight blush crawl across your face, it made him smile, for reasons he was unsure of.
“So you’re back, back?” Hank asked leaning against his desk.
“Certainly am, and I pulled some strings and convinced Fowler to make me your partner again!” You told Hank. The Lt. released a relieved sigh and clapped his hands together.
“This is a godsend, no offense Connor but this is the best partner I’ve ever had. Y/N, Connor, Connor, Y/N.” Hank introduced you two as he plopped back down in his seat. Connor stood quickly, maybe too quickly, maybe not quickly enough? His mind seemed to stall; his processing time stunted.
“Ahem, Connor.” Hank coughed loudly and broke Connor out of his confusing thoughts and noticed with embarrassment that you had been holding your hand out to his ever since he stood up.
“Oh! My apologies, I was finishing… a report. Yes. A report. It is my pleasure to meet you Y/N. I look forward to working with you and Lt. Anderson on further investigations. I have done a quick search into your records and I am thoroughly impressed with your marks at the academy and at your hefty contribution to the rapid decrease in the crime rate at your last station.” Connor finished. For some reason his tie felt too tight, although he had no respiratory circulation to be cut off, it still felt like he was suffocating. He managed to work up enough courage to look you in your eyes, but he feared he had made a mistake because now he didn’t wish to look at anything else. Connor cocked his head slightly, feeling overwhelmed by how your very presence was affecting him. His eyes now studied your hair, following the soft waves down your shoulders and to your chest where you wore a black tank top under your dark blue leather jacket. His eyes lingered there a moment too until a familiar slap to the back of his head brought him back.
“Connor! Let go of her hand goddammit!” Hank scolded him. Connor glanced down and saw he was still in fact shaking your hand.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” Connor said immediately releasing your hand and looking to his feet, unsure of how to proceed. But just as he considered retreating into some other part of the station, he felt the weight of his social blunder slide off his shoulders, just by the sound of your laughter.
“No need to apologize, it’s a pleasure to meet you too Connor, Hank has told me quite a bit about you.” You say as you lean against Hank’s desk and crack your knuckles, making Connor frown.
“I haven’t harmed your hand in any way, have I?” He probed.
“Hm? Oh no, you’re fine, it was nice actually. I like men with firm hands.” You replied with a coy smile on your lips. Connor blinked nervously a few times, his LED flashing yellow before a reply could form.
“And your hands are extremely soft. I found the experience to be extremely pleasurable.” Connor said attempting to regain his composure.
“Pleasurable?” Hank asked with a sharp edge to his voice.
“Pleasant! An oral typo to be sure! I will join you both later. Pleasant to meet you Y/N.” Connor said and rushed off to another part of the station, leaving you and Hank alone.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------You and Hank watch with amused smirks as Connor retreated to the evidence room, to the holding cells, then to the break room, seemingly scrambling for any available task to be done.
“I may give him hell but Connor is a good kid Y/N. He’s a little…off but he’s still trying to figure himself off.”
“No, I like him.” You say quickly without thinking but Hank doesn’t seem to notice.
“Now that you’re back, I can stop doing all the work, finally catch a breather.” Hank yawned as he put his feet on his desk.
“Really? Connor seems like a good cop, very…observant.”
“How do you mean?” Hank asked with a raised brow.
“Well, for one thing, he couldn’t stop staring at my boobs.” You grin.
My heart can't take this
something stupid bc i'm hella lonely and depressed and just want some toji comforts
Thinking about domestic retired! Toji who takes his job as a father and husband seriously. Protective doesn't even begin to grasp how defensive he is of you and your kids. You sometimes tease that he's breathing down your neck while you're at the store, but you love how safe you feel with him. He holds the grocery basket in one hand while the other one is laced with yours. And when you were pregnant? Jesus, you are surprised he didn't wrap ]you in bubble wrap. He also kept slightly in front of you while walking, making sure your growing belly was protected from any threat. When you would accidentally drop or gasp after bumping something or knocking something over with it, even a room away, he would rush in panicking "what's wrong? did your water break? are you ok," while cupping your cheek and then rubbing your belly. you could just giggle at his concerns.
Years of being together and growing older together. You sit on his lap, pushing his hair from his face that now is peppered with silver locks and well as his beard, which he frequently keeps in a stubble. "Love my old man, " you tease. He glares at you through his glasses he now wears while reading, after you bugged him to get them. Tired of him saying, "Can't see shit, why are these Legos so damn small," while building landscapes with your kids.
Kiss...?
