if you're feeling powerless right now—and god knows I am—here's a reminder you can donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds, the Trans Law Center, Gaza Soup Kitchen, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and hundreds of other charities that will work to mitigate the damage that has been and will continue to be inflicted
life continues. we still have the capacity to do good, important work. that matters
8, 10, 30 !!
Hi hi!! :D
8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in
Oooo I had a recipe zine started at the beginning of the pandemic that I meant to compile with friends, but then obviously life hit everyone like a TRUCK. I feel bad it never got any further but happy that it existed for a brief moment and brought us joy during a weird time! So for now my oatmilk recipe is floating out there somewhere as a jpeg on the interwebs
10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw
Ribbons, scarves, bows and tassels!! love love silky fabric that billows in the wind!!
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
oh god maybe my storyboards?? I feel like though that's more because posting boards online is always sorta clunky. Plus posting portfolio/original projects makes me a little awkward!! I'm always like... aha.. anyways here's this!! buh-bye!! And log off for a week!!
Update: I officially sold out of copies! Unfortunately I fell ill after MICE so it's taking me awhile to reorganize things, but later in the week I should be making a $125 donation thanks to everyone's support!
To everyone that wishes to buy elsewhere or online, I'll update my accounts if a second reprint happens🫡! But for now it is still free to read online via my comics tag on tumblr.
Howdy!! Popping in to say my last bday comic Wake Up: Ballad for the Midwest Queer won a mini comic award at MICE! I'll be donating 50% of its physical copy profits to the TransOhio Emergency Fund. Please consider checking out the work they do as well as the rest of the MICE winners!
Hello Tumblr community!
This blog has been started to document and share fundraisers vetted by @nabulsi, @el-shab-hussein, and Moh'd Ayesh. We felt it would help to create a space dedicated to this documentation process.
The fundraisers we are vetting will be added to this page as well as included in our google sheet.
We will continue to reblog and share on our personal blogs, and that will not change, but this blog will help better organize these fundraisers.
Please spread this as we'd like to start using this primarily to share newly vetted fundraisers.
~ Thank you
