Like so many before me, I grew up with these characters--learning, laughing and even grieving. Seeing the muppets was like seeing an old friend again. Today as an adult, I can now see the incredible feat of work that is required to bring our lovable monsters to life. To this group of amazing beings: my heart is filled with gratitude and admiration. Thank you for all your hard work. You've touched countless hearts and minds with your messages of compassion.

The late night dance
click clack, click clack, your feet make music as you twirl,
Beyond the water under the bridge, I see you dancing on the ridge.
Left right, left right
I join you beneath the waxing moon
Tonight, our night, we dance
She came from nowhere!
She stole your time!
Then she was gone!
The best of me, I gave to you...
I stayed with you, all through the night
We danced the dance.
You're so beautiful to me...Like a full moon on a starry night, you are my love, my guiding light, in the darkness.
Inward we exist, outward we live.
Me
The dagger pierces my chest, its smooth cold blade enters slowly. Every inch it glides deeper I feel my breath escape my lips. Everything burns around me, a fire of my own doing. I lay in a pool of my own crimson essence.
Testing testing, 1,2,3... This blog will be a special little place where I keep my thoughts and projects that I am working on. Here is a short list of things to expect while viewing this blog: School projects, written reflections, games, silly things and images of art that I find interesting.
Happy Presidents’ Day Weekend!
Or maybe not…the official title of Monday’s holiday has actually been “George Washington’s Birthday” since its establishment in 1879.
Never mind that this holiday hasn’t fallen on Washington’s actual birthday in nearly fifty years or that a certain 16th President also celebrates his big day this month (more on that here). Grab a slice of cake and tip your party hats to our first President and the 43 that have come after him - including Our Presidents’ own fab thirteen!

Spread out across the floor, laying on my back looking up at the ceiling I hear her crying in the bathroom I just stare at the shadows crawling slowly across the walls Nothing inside me anymore It's almost as if I don't even care She cries and I stare up and off into space
