How I Imagine

How I Imagine

How I imagine:

I remember my only goal is to BECOME the one I want to be IN IMAGINATION ONLY.

So I think about something I want to be, anything. Then I assume I AM that IN IMAGINATION, and in Imagination I can be all things.

When I say the words, “I AM” I am not speaking about this outer-body but the Inner Man. The Inner Man to me is I AM and I know that all I must change is I AM to change my life.

I accept that I AM that Inner Man EXPERIENCING in present tense what I desire.

Let’s give an example. Suppose I wanted to go to Las Vegas but I am in New York. While I am in New York, I would imagine myself in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand lobby. So while I am looking around in the MGM Grand’s lobby, I assume that the Inner Man who is looking around is the REAL ME, the I AM. So I say, “I AM in Las Vegas.”

If I identify myself with the Inner Man, then yes, it is a PRESENT FACT that I am in Las Vegas. To deny this is to be delusional. I am looking at the lobby and I see people walking around. Of course, I am here.

Now take this example and multiply to anything in Imagination. Suppose you wanted to be in a happy marriage. Then go in Imagination and look at your imaginary hand and look at your ring. Feel incredibly proud to be married and feel that your marriage is wonderful.

Then identify yourself with that I AM, with the Inner Man. I AM experiencing myself being happily married. I must be for that is me! Not something I will become but am NOW. Suppose you wanted to hear good news from a friend. Bring them before you and imagine them telling you the good news. Respond as you would normally if you actually heard this news. Then after you listen, are you going to deny that you heard those words? How can you deny it? You, the Inner You, experienced it. Don’t doubt the experience, you heard it!

“Should you tomorrow or in the interval between now, this night, and you do it, and the fulfillment of it, should one little doubt enter your mind, do this: just remember “But I experienced it, I experienced ownership, so I don’t care if at this very moment something denies it, I experienced it!” - Neville

heyy, i wanted to share my manifesting routine in case anybody needs one or ppl wanna take inspo or manifesting methods ideas.

💋 i rampage self concept affirmations twice a day (morning and night, sometimes an extra in the evening if i begin to waver)

💋 i play subliminals while i get ready (i enjoy the music and i get affs saturating my subconscious so i can truly have it all)

💋 i daydream (not visualize with feelings or senses and all of that cuz idk how lol) esp while listening to music

💋 i take naps once or twice a day and meditate at least once a day and i use that time to just go ham with affirmations (no need to believe or feel them, i like to make them straightforward unlike my rampaging which sounds like i’m hyping up my homegirl)

💋 and lastly when i sleep 4 the night i just play my sleep affirmations tape and do the lullaby method (affirm in sats (no need to even be in sats ur gonna get there eventually as u affirm) until i fall asleep)

and boom i manifest my desires in a matter of days really, no more than a week or two (if there’s a delay or a transition or purge period in the 3d which is a limiting belief i’m working on getting rid of). just affirm and persist and live in ur imagination (the 4d) and the 3d will have to catch up duhhhh

nice routine!🫶🏽

♡ Popcorn method  ♡

══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══

This is a fun manifestation technique I created/use to manifest almost instantly! When using this method you imagine yourself to be a magic microwave that can create anything into reality! Think of the popcorn kernels as your desires/thoughts that are ready to burst into reality when you use the magic microwave!

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

1. Confirm your desire

This can be literally anything you want! (e.g. a new lipstick, dream body…) This step is almost like preparing your kernels and putting them into the microwave.

2. Stay in a state which you feel like you already have your desire

So when I get to this part I like to tense up my muscles and squeeze my eyes shut ( I do this because it makes me feel like I’m really focusing all of my energy into my desires and it also makes me feel like I’m really tensed up like a popcorn kernel ready to burst.) and just imagine whatever I want has appeared out of thin air, you can also repeat affirmations while doing this step such as:

- I have my dream face

- Isn’t it wonderful that its raining right now

- wow i just manifested my dream shoes instantly

3. Relax

Finally I relax my whole body and I have my desire. (like the kernel has popped and my desires had burst into reality.)

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───  ┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ °

what I have manifested using this method:

- the time changing from 9:57pm to 8:55 instantly

- seeing the number 111 instantly in front of me

- finding my claw clip instantly

══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══

I haven’t used this method too much yet but I would like to see if this works for anyone else! This method isn’t very complicated at all it’s just a fun way I use to spice up my manifestations from time to time! I love this method because it doesn’t require to focus for super long and i personally believe it is much more adhd friendly then some other methods i use.

♡ Popcorn Method  ♡
All this time, she'd been waiting. She'd been waiting while she was washing her single plate every evening, waiting while she was listening to every new record, every ring of the telephone, waiting while she was in the room with him. In the room with him, laughing over shared jokes and coffee, all the time thinking "Today, he will fall in love with me." Thinking: Today, he will take off his headset and stand up and he will meet my eyes like a July buck facing its shotgun and he will say 'The truth is, you are the love of my life. The truth is, I have been very stupid.
You looked wonderful in that olive green dress, even when you spilled the cream because you never got the hang of pouring something from one mug into another, but it was a charming kind of fuck-up that made me fall in love with you. The truth is, I am in love with you. The truth is, you have never seemed wrong to me, not even after what happened with Simone at the Christmas party. You have always seemed right, in the right light and at the right moment, and right for me, always. The truth is, I have never doubted this thing between us. I have written a love letter for you every night and torn it up and eaten it every morning because the truth is, I have never been more terrified of anything in my entire life. But it doesn't matter, it doesn't, because you are wearing the olive green dress and you always pour two cups of coffee just in case I might want one and no one has ever been more patient than you. And I love you. Let's buy a sheep farm. Let's get married. Let's visit the ocean. Let's be the next great American love story. Let's get dinner. My treat.'

⚜️ 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐰.

the law — whatever you assume to be true is true — is always working for you, not against you:

- whether you assume you have or do not have your desire, you are correct.

- whether you assume you fail or win at everything, you are correct.

- whether you assume you get treated like trash or like a queen, you are correct.

- whether you assume everything works out for you or that the world is against you, you are correct.

no matter what it may be, subjectively good or bad, you cannot fail with the law. so, enough whining. step out of the victim mindset and start assuming the best for you in every aspect of your life. you, and only you, have the choice to win or lose in this reality you‘re in control of. happy manifesting!

Manifesting should not be a chore. Really it shouldn’t. Did it feel like a chore when you unconsciously did it all those years before you knew abt loa? Thought so. It’s just thinking you should only do methods because you like doing them and they are what works best for you. We are literally the universe experiencing itself. Manifesting shouldn’t take up your whole mind and make you feel bad in any way. Manifesting is that simple so that you don’t have to spiral or be anxious and shit. It is that simple so that you can live the life you want easily and effortlessly. You are not meant to worry about the 3d. The 3d is only the medium trough which you experience your mind/4d. Stop worrying, seriously.

The Love Witch (2016)

Writing Characters with Superpowers

Look! Up on the blog! It’s a novel! It’s a poem! No - it’s a new SOC Original!

Anyone who knows anything about my writing knows that the one thing I love to write, more than anything else in the whole world, is characters with superpowers. Why? I don’t know. It might be my childhood obsession with X-men: Evolution, or my subsequent obsessions with Static Shock, Batman: Beyond, the Justice League, or any other number of cartoon superhero shows. I started writing about superheroes when I was twelve years old, and I have never gone back.

Of course, writing about superheroes (and supervillains!) for over fourteen years teaches you a few things about how to write superpowers - and how not to. A few people have requested that I make a post about what to keep in mind when writing about superpowers, so here it is!

First of all, when you’re writing a character with superpowers, ignore anyone who says that if you give your character the same powers as another character you’re cheating, being uncreative, or whatever else. Listen, there’s nothing you can write that hasn’t been written, or at least there isn’t much. What counts isn’t the powers, it’s how your specific character chooses to use them! Just because you have a character who is super strong and who can fly doesn’t mean that you’re writing Superman - maybe your character isn’t quite as “Good” or as law-abiding as Superman, or maybe your character is afraid of their own strength and chooses not to use it at all, or maybe they just don’t have a lot of control. There’s a lot of wiggle room, so don’t be afraid to wiggle!

Second, when you give your character superpowers, give them limitations or drawbacks. These don’t have to be directly connected to their powers - they can be a part of your character’s personality instead. For example, I have a character who can unleash devastating amounts of telekinetic force, but she chooses to suppress her abilities instead of using them because she’s afraid that she’ll hurt someone - a fear that stems from her past, where she might have accidentally killed someone with her powers. Her fear of her own strength is a limitation on that strength and on her willingness to use it. You can also take this in the other direction and have a character who is so confident that they are helping that they end up doing more harm than good, or a character who so firmly believes that their powers are the answer to all of their problems that they completely miss the simpler solution. There are lots and lots of ways you can do this!

Another thing to think about, though, is powers-specific disadvantages. Yes, we all know the “Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex” trope/joke, but honestly, most superpowers have some kind of drawback associated with them, especially when they first manifest. If your character is a telepath who doesn’t have great control over their telepathy, they might hear things in other peoples’ heads that they wish they hadn’t, or they might get overwhelmed by the amount of mental “noise” around them. An empath could be overloaded by other peoples’ emotions, especially in a crowd, and a pyrokinetic always has to worry about starting accidental fires, of course. Figure out what kind of trouble your character’s powers cause for them. This can also be a list of “superpower cons” - reasons why your character might want to give up their powers.

That leads me to my next point - figure out how your character feels about their powers! Are they afraid of them? Are they awed? Do they think their powers are super cool, or are they angry that they can no longer lead a normal life? Do they think they need help learning how to deal with them?

In the same vein, figure out who your character can tell about their abilities - every hero needs someone they can trust enough to be their true selves with. It’s not good for people, psychologically, to have to wear a mask all the time, even if the mask is invisible. Your hero needs someone they can turn to in times of sorrow or doubt, whether that’s a friend or a sibling or a parent or a butler.

Your superpowered character needs to have a life outside of their superpowers, but their superpowers should affect that life, too. What I mean is that there are some things that can’t be separated from who we are as people, and superpowers fall into that category. Your psychic character won’t only have migraines when they’re wearing the mask. Your superstrong character doesn’t only have superstrength when they’re wearing tights. They still have lives and families and jobs and things that they have to do that don’t involve stopping (or starting) the latest crime wave, but their powers don’t go away. Show your readers the impact that has on them.

And, last of all, when you’re writing a superpowered character, think about what drives them. Think about what their morality is, and think about their motivation, and think about how that affects the choices they make with and without their powers. Don’t be afraid of the gray areas - sometimes that’s where the most interesting stories happen, in the struggle between what a character wants to do and what they know they have to do.

I hope this helps you out when you’re writing your superpowered characters. Good luck!

-Kyo
