Imagine moving to a new town and finding out it's the only place in the country where the mayor position has been vacant for 40 years because the last guy vanished one day and everyone's still waiting for him to get back. He may or may not be alive. He left a message hidden in his office about looking into an apocalyptic conspiracy that was only found a couple years ago and has no date so no one knows when it was written.
