Things I love about autumn
• waking up to rainy mornings
• leaves crunching when you walk on them
• going into a warm cafe after being out in the cold
• warming your hands while holding a warm cup
• when it’s foggy
• halloween movies and specials on all the time
• the cool crisp feeling outside
• wearing sweaters and boots
• halloween decorations
• thanksgiving specials
• that extra spooky feeling at night
• carving pumpkins
• pumpkin spice
• hot chocolate
• candles
• the night before halloween
• the day of Halloween in general, when everything’s just extra spooky
• ghost stories
• fairy lights
• jack o’lanterns
he can’t be real 😭❤
The Cottingley Fairies appear in a series of five photographs taken by Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths, two young cousins who lived in Cottingley, near Bradford in England. In 1917, when the first two photographs were taken, Elsie was 16 years old and Frances was 10. …Conan Doyle, as a spiritualist, was enthusiastic about the photographs, and interpreted them as clear and visible evidence of psychic phenomena. Public reaction was mixed; some accepted the images as genuine, but others believed they had been faked.
Vintage pictures show a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the Marcel waves in the hair that were popular during the 1920s.
