Hello i just wanted to make a quick post about why I have edited all of my lego artworks! Some people have informed me that coloring the lego monkie kid characters yellow is wrong, since when the show colors them yellow it's because they are legos, but when they are given human characteristics they no longer are legos and are now human. I was using the exact colors from the show as reference/color-picking them, and used yellow as a universal color and skin tone but I realize that that was not the right choice and could unintentionally spread harmful messages and harmful cultural stereotypes. I am very sorry if I have spread any harmful messages with my art by accident and I will be changing my art to not use the lego yellow color for skin tones in further artworks! I would never want to offend anyone by any means, I’m very sorry if I have as that’s never been my intention. I deeply adore this show and legos and I post art to have fun and see others creativity and Im sorry if I have spread any harmful messages with my art. Thank you very much for letting me know my mistakes and I will be changing them! I have edited all of my previous posts, but if I have missed any please let me know
