The past few nights have been rough, you have recently stopped taking any melatonin or anything to sleep. But somehow..staying up with Nikki the other night wasn’t a great idea. And now your body clock was completely out of wack.

So, you decided to stop tossing and turning and seek some comfort from your boyfriend. “Nikki..Nikki wake up” you whispered bringing your hands to gently tap on his arm.

“What..what is it baby?” Nikki asked still half asleep as he shifted beside you. His hands immediately going to your waist. “I-I can’t sleep..and I don’t know what to do” you said as you layed back down. Staring at the ceiling as Nikki brought you into his arms.

“It’s okay..it’ll come. Just relax” he said. His tone soft and gentle, as he slowly rubbed your back. You settled into him and finally felt your body slowly start to relax.

“I know it’s been hard..but I’ll be here. I promise” he cooed. His hand finding yours and holding it.

“Just relax, good girl” he said. Trying to bring you to sleep or to simply relax. Nikki already knew if you didn’t sleep now you would before the very early morning. So, he was just trying to bring you down right now.

“Shh, don’t speak” he said as you opened your mouth to numb the silence. You liked this though, Nikki was often on tour, at the studio anywhere but at the house. So being with him like this, was almost therapeutic. Even in a sleep deprived state.

“Good girl, just relax” Nikki said as you finally felt your eyes starting to grow tired.

“Goodnight, I love you sweetheart” Nikki said. Leaving a kiss on your forehead.
