okay i think i actually figured out the secret to binding tape!

(at least for my chest: my cup size is a and my breast tissue is pretty dense so there’s not a lot of movement. i am exactly the wrong size and shape for every binder i have tried.)

you need 4 strips; 2 that are 4 sections long and 2 that are 3 sections long. also nipple covers.

round the corners of all the pieces. the tape stickies up scissor blades so i bought a pair of sharp scissors specifically for tape cutting.

apply one end of the 4-section strip about an inch from the center of your chest and the top corner about level with your armpit. i do this one lying down. let the other end of the strip lie lower than the first. on me the back corner ended under my shoulder blade. some of the nipple cover was still visible underneath this strip.

the 3-section strip needs to be applied while sitting. the edge starts about an inch in from the start of the first one, and place it over the lower half of your breast. make sure the piece is tight as you move back. since this strip is shorter it should also end before the first strip. leave only about an inch of overlap of the two strips because the adhesive is worse on tape than on skin.

repeat on the other side.

this is a little awkwardly worded so i may later try to do drawings although i am not very good at art.

using this though my tummy (not very big, unfortunately) is bigger than my breasts! i actually feel masc! and while wide sleeves like on tanks are still a no because you can see the tape, i feel so confident without a sweater!

I realised I never posted my uni work from last year, and I think it’s pretty POG so I thought I’d share it. It’s lil based off surveys I did of other queer disabled ppl and what imagery we resonate with as a collective, inc the words: sot, little guy, feral, like water, creature & just passing through. I’ll let you guess which phrases inspired each image :^)

Phalloplasty Information - Consultation with Dr. Crane

At the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference I had a short consultation with Dr. Crane following his workshop. I had another short consult with him last August during Gender Odyssey as well, so I had the chance to address questions I wasn’t able to prior. This post will detail my personal experience and will also explain details such as size limits in RFF (forearm) phalloplasty. Pictures will correspond to the text below them.
