The comic in the second picture is a continuation of my latest Wakfu fan animation!

Illustrations in collaboration with @fate221 for an artbook Ukrainian Bestiary that focuses on creatures of Ukrainian mythology. We were working on Upyr (укр. упир), it's something in between ghouls and vampires.

Мін Бао Зионг - другий з моїх головних героїв і перший, хто розповів своїм друзям про Вартових Зірок (інша назва - Зірниця, вони/їх або воно). Це магічне створіння з‘явилося у важкий для Міна період, і саме вони допомогли йому рухатися далі. 

За сюжетом Мін дізнається, що Зірниця не плід його уяви, бо друзі Міна - Клод та Ха Юн, теж їх бачили. Тому коли він, приїхавши до Катерини, побачив блискітку в небі, що потім впала на землю, то одразу здогадався - «Це вони!».

Відтоді він бажає знову їх зустріти, вже в їхньому всесвіті, віддячити та допомогти, якщо це буде необхідно ✨

Зионг - це його ім‘я, в той час як Мін Бао - прізвище, але через незвичну вимову Катерина та Клод називають його Мін.

Minh Bao Duong (Dương) is the second of my main characters and the first one to tell his friends about the Star Keeper (other name is Zirnytsia, they/them). This magical creature appeared during a difficult period for Minh, and it was they who helped him move on.

During the story,  Minh learns that Zirnytsia is not a figment of his imagination, because Minh’s friends - Claude and Ha Yun - also saw them. Therefore, when he moved to his friend Kateryna and on a first day saw a spark in the sky, which then fell to the ground, he immediately thought - “It’s them!”.

Since then, he wants to meet them again, already in THEIR universe, thank them and help if necessary ✨

Duong is his first name, while Minh Bao is his last name, but because of the unusual pronunciation, Catherine and Claude call him Minh. It has Vietnamese origins.

This person added this asinine comment to this post, and I gotta say, not only does this kind of shit piss me off because it’s obviously not true, but what really pisses me off is when people like them put this kind of bullshit on other people’s blogs but are too fucking cowardly to say it with their whole chest on their own blog. They wanna post pretty pictures without ever letting their followers know what absolutely SHIT beliefs they are quietly harboring. So they pull chickenshit like this on other people’s posts.

OP who left this stupid ass comment hasn’t posted since the war started, but they got all the time to troll pro-Ukrainian posts. 😒

I get this kind of bs from pro-Russia bloggers all the time and I always say Imma call them out when they do shit like this, but I never get around to doing it. But today, I got time.

Russia is the aggressor. Russia invaded Ukraine, Ukraine did not invade Russia. Russian is targeting civilians, apartment buildings, schools, churches and hospitals … with lethal bombs and weapons. The Russian army is raping women and abducting thousands of young children and putting them into “re-education camps” where they teach them how to be Russian—literally one of the definitions of genocide. And because I know how brain dead tankies can get on this website, NO, Ukraine wasn’t in NATO when Russia started its war on Ukraine, and NO, Ukraine wasn’t even applying for membership to NATO when they were invaded by Russia.

But Ukrainians and their neighbors would be crazy not to want to be in NATO now.

It ain’t Russophobia, it’s consequences.
