Ok so this post is extremely long and I put it all together for my blogs Feeling sad page but as I don’t have a huge amount of followers I realize so many people are not seeing this information so I’m posting it here too!

alternatives without harming yourself:

holding/squeezing ice.

splashing your face with water.

getting a rubber band and snapping it against your skin (this could hurt, though it’s better than other ways that people usually choose to self-harm).

take a hot shower or bath.

eat something sour. it will take your mind of the urge. (lemon, sour lollies)

massage where you want to self-harm.

get a red pen or red paint and draw/paint over where you usually self-harm.

remind yourself as to why you shouldn’t do it. (scars, harms organs, leave memories etc…)

describe what you are feeling. (is the urge/pain in your chest, fists, legs, arms, head).

killing yourself will not help. it is not a solution.

you have your whole life ahead of you. you have so many more years that you can accomplish things in. for example;

having a family.

getting married.

to watch the sun rise.

to watch the sun set.

to save someone else’s life.

finish school.

get your dream job.

to laugh.

to smile.

to go camping.

travel to new places.

to wake up every morning to the person you love.

friends.

family.

to keep that promise you made.

to accomplish a goal.

to meet your idol.

to listen to new music.

theme parks.

video games.

chocolate.

to be able to look back and say “i made it”.

what you’re going through is temporary.

in case you need to hear this:

you are wanted.

you are needed.

you are beautiful.

you are handsome.

you are important.

you are not alone.

I sat on my bed, endless tears rolling down my face. My heart aches so much whenever this day comes around. The day my best friend, Jason Wild left town. Jason and I grew up together, together we were inseparable. We were next door neighbors. The nights studying together, the days we spent at the park on the swings. The summers we got our first job, learned how to drive, soaking up some sun at the beach. As time went by our friendship became stronger. But for me it became something else. Jason was my escape. From the world, from everyone and everything. Now he is gone. I looked up the stars are shinning brightly tonight. The cold breeze coming through the open window cooling my warm skin. I laid down, looking at the picture of Jason and I. We are smiling in each other’s arms under our tree. I felt sleep slowly taking over me, my eyes fluttered closed. As I fell into blissful slumber…..

Next morning:

I woke up to my alarm going off, a (r/s) playing. I signed pulling the covers over me. I just want to sleep! When my phone started to ring. I groaned, yanking the covers backwards. I grabbed my phone answering the call…

-“hello?”

-“y/n? Did you just wake up?”

I huffed rubbing my temples, I…

-“what is it (f/n)?”

-“there’s a case, boss man needs you”

I groaned, boss man? Really (f/n)? I….

I hung up the phone, getting up. I walked towards the bathroom. I turned on the light, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I walked towards the shower. I turned on the water, waiting for it to warm up a bit. I walked to the cabinet to grab a towel. I placed the towel on the counter and closed the cabinet. I hit play on my iPod. (R/s) started playing from the speakers. I took off my pjs. I stepped into the shower. The warm water hitting my skin, my muscles relaxing. I titled my head back letting my hair get wet. I signed then I put my hands against the cold tile wall. My head hung low….

After shower:

I got dressed wearing….

Pausing my music, I walked to my nightstand grabbing my phone. I put it in my back pocket. Grabbing my pistol put it in its holder around my waist. I grabbed my badge clipping it to my belt. Walking out of my bedroom turning off the fan. I walked down the hall and out of my house. Oops almost forget. Quickly opening the door again I grabbed my car keys. Closing the door locking it. I walked towards my (t/c). Unlocking the car and got on the driver seat. I buckled my seatbelt and turned on my car. It roared to life. I backed out of the driveway and drove off towards H.Q……

Headquarters:

I parked my car in my spot, I turned off my car and unbuckled. I got out of my car grabbing my bag. I closed the car door and locked my car. I put my bag over my left shoulder. Signing I walked towards the elevator. I pushed the up button. I fixed my shirt waiting. The elevator beeped and the sliver doors opened. I walked into the elevator. Pushing the level 8 button. The sliver doors closed and the elevator started to move. I wonder what big case is going on. (F/n) seemed very excited, which could mean something very good or very bad. Sometimes I don’t know with (her/him). The elevator beeped and the sliver doors opened. I walked out of the elevator to my bosses office. I saw a guy in his office. Rick talking to him, I opened the door. Rick…

I rolled my eyes at my boss, then Rick…

The guy turned towards me, my heart stopped beating and my breathing hitched. There he stood after all this time…
