I've had the exact same hesitation to writing SW fanfic as @szyszkasosnowa - it feels like the moment I post anything someone's going to pop out of the woodwork with an "um, actually..." about the fact that I used actual swear words (kriff can suck it!) or something along those lines.

So this list is super-handy! I'm going to have to pin it somewhere and take a look through the stuff I've drafted to see if I need to update any of the terms. Thank you @wolvieispunk for taking the time to write this out!

Andor makes me want to write a Star Wars fanfiction but it's so scary. What if I write "Glup Shitto was sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee and reading his favourite book", but someone comments "didn't you mean he was drinking glop-goppy and reading a holo-journal? 🤨" so I open wookiepedia to check it out and it turns out that they also never invented balconies in the star wars universe and Glup Shitto can't read because of the freak accident he suffered in the episode 10 of the 2024 show "Jar-Jar and Babu Frik". What then.

He'd be such a mess if he finally let himself sink into a good hug instead of pushing it away or making a joke or something to create distance. I think he'd also become a hug fiend afterward, wanting that closeness and that release again and again. Snuggling too - I feel like once he let himself go a little he'd be just as snuggly as Steven or Poe would be. He's just gotta build up that trust first.
