hi :) i’m your other secret santa haha :> how are you, what are you favourite artists?
-🤠 (ill sign with this so you know which santa i am)
Hey cowboy secret Santa! 🤠
I'm doing good, just a little stressed with finals and my final film I'm making for school.
My favorite artists as in music or art? I don't really have any favorite visual artists. Plus I just assumed you meant musicians, so I'll list some!
Some of my favorite artists are Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Joan Baez, Jeff Buckley, Nirvana, KoRn, Alice in Chains, Amy Winehouse, Silverchair, Radiohead, John Frusciante, Elliott Smith, John Lennon and George Harrison
Hii!!
What’s your favourite beatles film out of the 5 they made? :D
Hey!
My favorite Beatles film that they made is by far A Hard Days Night! I love it so much and the album soundtrack is definitely one of my favorites. The shenanigans that happen and the playfulness of it all just fills me with pure serotonin, I love it so much!
Also, I gave you a follow! :D

The Beatles in A Hard Day's Night (1964)
Omg guys, today my grandma (who is the only Beatles fan in my family, ugh) surprised me today and told me that she got us tickets to a Beatles tribute band concert in her city she lives in for an early (but actually late, since it's in January) Christmas present! We got third row seats so hell yeah. I know it's not really them and that it's just a tribute band but idk, it just feels so exciting since they are going to try and capture the boys musical magic (even if it's not as good as them, because they can never be). But I'm still excited nonetheless since people are still paying tribute to the boys like this, and that I will be able to see it with the only other Beatlemaniac in my family. I'll definitely post updates about it when it happens!
hi! i saw you posting about jeff buckley, could you tell me anything about him? do you have any recommendations for his music, albums, songs, etc?
-your secret santa [❤️]
Yes, of course! I'm so glad you asked about him!
Honestly, I could tell you his whole life story but I don't want to answer this question in a novel, lol! In short, he was a singer from the 90s and honestly can sing and genre, he had one of the most beautiful male voices ever, I think. His dad, Tim Buckley was actually a folk singer himself, but Jeff never knew him since he died when he was only eight. But he got the musical gene, and he got berry popular for a while when he released his first album, Grace. Although, he tragically died from an accidental drowning in the Mississippi river in 1997 when he was only 30 years old, during the time he was working on an unreleased second album, Sketches for My Sweetheart, the Drunk.
For studio album recommendations, I can really only suggest Grace and Sweetheart the Drunk, since they were the only releases he was able to finish when he was alive. Although, he released many live albums that are incredible and he plays a lot of different stuff during thoes. For live albums, me favorite are Live at Sin-é and Mystery White Boy. You can also check out So Real: Songs from Jeff Buckley and You and I.
As far as songs, his most popular is probably his cover of Hallelujah. But I would suggest: Lover You Should Have Come Over, I Know It's Over, Corpus Christi Charol, So Real, Opened Once, Forget Her, Everybody Here Wants You, Eternal Life, You & I, Grace, Nightmares by the Sea, Mojo Pin, Lilac Wine and his cover of Mama You've Been on My Mind and I Shall Be Released by Bob Dylan.
I'm sorry this was so long, as you can tell, I really love Jeff Buckley 😅❤️
Thanks for the tag, as always! :)
1. I play acoustic/electric guitar and have played for years, although, for a while I had to stop cus I played so much I have mystic nerve damage in my arm but I'm better now! I'm healed since then though, thank God, cus that shit was excruciating
2. I love to read and write constantly and I want to get my original stories published one day
3. I love film and movies and love making videos and filmmaking
4. I am a collector and I collect all kinds of stuff like movies, books, magazines, albums, music merch, ect.
5. Back to the music thing, I was in a classic rock band that was set up by my guitar instructor (who doubled as our manager), for like about two years. We signed a contract and everything and ended up playing a bunch of local gigs and shows and toured with another local band, but I ended up quitting. I should do a little storytime post about this soon if you guys are interested in hearing. It was a crazy time for sure!

NEW MUTUAL CHAIN IDEA!!!!!
here are five things my mutuals and followers probably don't know about me:
i play guitar!! i haven't for very long, so i'm not awesome, but i'm working on it...
i LOVE to read. this is something most of my mutuals probably do know about me, but maybe not to the extent. i LOVE LOVE LOVE to read. most of my free time is spent on volunteering at the library, walking to the library, reading books, reading fanfic, reading tumblr posts about reading, and organizing books. no, i'm not exaggerating.
i'm a pastor's kid! my dad is the lead pastor at my church, and my family and i love to get involved. my church is my second family, and i stand by that.
i have four older sisters, and yes, i am the youngest. no brothers, but my oldest sister's boyfriend has five, so when we are with them, it pretty much evens out.
remember when i said how much i love to read? well, i always did, but i didn't actually start getting into fandoms or the hardcore stuff until less than a year ago! my first fandom was harry potter, so that will always hold a special place in my heart.
here are some no-pressure mentions (anyone who's not tagged is welcome to join in!! the more the merrier): @fourwingedsnake @marleighdrinkscoffee @minnierocks12 @saffronfalls @alyss-mainwarning @nuninho2000 @emqraldrxses
if you google "what is it called when" and the first letter of a beatle, autocomplete writes you a little poem about their apocalyptic destiny.

(I'm sorry, but "rats get stuck together, reality feels like a dream, rocks fall down a mountain" has more emotional comprehension of the beatles story than many nine hundred page biographies.)
we should start spamming the timothee chalamet tag with our posts about bob dylan. timothee fans are forcing us to look at their man in the bob dylan tag so I say we go on the offensive. this is war. I'm not taking this laying down anymore
