Voltron Season 5′s Release Date

So, just to get the information out there for everyone who’s been listening to rumors…

The first trailer for season 5 is almost guaranteed to be dropping on March 23/24/25, one of those three days at WonderCon, whichever day the Voltron panel is on. They ALWAYS drop their trailers at a con, and they attended WonderCon last year, so they’re most likely waiting until then.

Seasons always drop within less than a month after the trailer/con, and they always drop on a Friday for easier binging.

Season 5 is coming out on either April 6 or April 13, one of the first two Fridays of April after the trailer drops on March 23/24/25.

There it is. That’s your season 5 release date.

Regarding the rain and umbrella tweet going around…

It doesn’t mean a character dies; all of the voice actors have been seen in the recording studio recently, and they’re recording way past season 5, meaning they all have many parts to play past season 5. No one is dying.

(if someone is dying though, then it’s the Shiro clone, and we eventually get the real Shiro back)

Also, I don’t think it’s referencing Lance finding a planet with rain or anything. I don’t see the show ever focusing on a plot point like that.

Some people think it’s referencing umbrella day on February 10, but, it’s not. Sorry guys, but nothing is coming in February, that would still be way too soon for any news of season 5 when you compare it to the wait times of previous seasons.

Honestly, I personally don’t think the tweet means much, but feel free to continue theorizing.

The most likely interpretation is that it’s just referencing April showers, confirming the April release date.

Please do not for even a second believe KE is a bad person. Yes, they hurt and I hurt them. But they does not mean the deserve to be hurt and I do not deserve to be hurt. I get everyone feels betrayed and abandoned as I do. But that does not means we have to have some kind of witch hunt trail against KE or anyone else from artfulImpersonator that left. If you don’t want me hurt then stop trying to hurt them. You are only driving KE away from me more by doing this, not helping them ever want to come back.
