the shadow clan keep to themselves mostly, but get involved when a)they hate someone and b) when they harm slugs. Tad fired on them in their first meeting, so a was checked off, and then started ghouling in mass droves, so...yeah, after amity cavern they were hella spying

Its been shown in Cannon the Shadow Clan do keep tabs on what's going on in the 99 Caverns. But because of their aversion to light/bright areas can't necessarily do much without risking harm to themselves in some way.

Though they do mainly stick to their territory, I'm not above thinking that a few members of the Clan lurk in the shadows and watch what potential threats do to keep tabs on them.

So yeah, I can totally believe the Shadow Clan watch Tad, but can't do much unless they absolutely have too.

Imagines the Slugs pop up in Gravity Falls?

I'm just imagining gravity falls having The Drop....yeah, that makes sense.

I think if they showed up without any talking slugterrans the slugs would just be seen as another creature/monster/anomally. Plus, if they stay in protoform, how would the town even know they can transform? they'de be kept secret well there, tho. They'de be a footnote in that towns history tbh. Out of all the places on the surface to know about the slugs, or even Slugterra, gravity falls is like best case scenario.

(btw I haven't watched it in like 7 years and barely remember it it's on my rewatch list - sorry if I'm forgetting stuff)
