I HEART VIKTOR
Transformers "More Than Meets The Eye" comic has recently torpedoed me down the feelsy space car robots hellhole, an therefore i present a sketchy collection of Lost Light crew as homo sapiens. I had SO MUCH fun coming up with the designs! Now off to actually learn how to draw robots i guess
Drawings I have done recently of Aphrodite and Hera, here are my designs
Gwen receiving so much criticism over her character arc in ATSV is wild cuz that's literally the plot of the movie, that's what the movie is all about and that's what made it this good. That's what's intended to happen, she's repeating the mistake with a friend, and going for a redemption. Her first lines are literally "I hurt him and he wasn't the only one". You immediately know something bad will happen between her and Miles and that it will be, if not entirely, then mostly, her fault, which she is aware of when she's telling the story. The movie doesn't portray her as the best character and definitely not as the worst one, it gives her character development, just like her dad wasn't there for her at first and by the end of the film he was. No one's saying that she was entirely right, but that just like her dad, she saw that she wasn't there for a loved one and decided to try to fix the problem before It's too late - which is so much more than what a lot of characters usually do. Literally everyone makes mistakes, it's how she handled it that's great and as long as she doesn't repeat it (same for her dad too).
After watching the movie, I started to think about how Miguel didn't even looked at Mayday when she fell on him. One can assume it's because he's not in a good mood, but I started to think about what he lost.
I'm not very good at explaining it, so I hope the artwork talks for itself
It's been 2 weeks+ since the movie release, so at this point there's a lot more approach of that situation in a comedic way. It took me a lot of time to finally start this, and it feels like a bad timing since what's going on rn are memes about it more than anything, but well, I wanted to do it anyway
I started to fight this piece too much, so I'll just leave it at this point and call it finished, good or bad
yes, this was the artwork that made me open a poll about Miguel's ass... I'll share the version of it that didn't make it... at some point-
Based on that one statue of Aphrodite and Eros
The reason that Miguel O’Hara is one of the best movie Spider-Man antagonists is because he is a Spider-Man who has forgotten almost everything that being Spider-Man means.
Miguel’s grief, his pride, and his biases have so clouded his judgment that anything that goes against his narrow worldview has to be dismissed and put down swiftly and brutally. Miguel is what all Spider-people fear to become: someone who has stopped trying. Someone who believes that it was their pain, and not their choices, that makes them who they are.
MJ: My husband, Peter Parker, was an ordinary person. He always said that it could be anyone behind the mask. He was just the kid who happened to get bit. He didn’t ask for his powers. But he chose to be Spider-Man. My favorite thing about Peter is that he made us each feel powerful. We all have powers of one kind or the other, and in our own way we are all Spider-Man. And we are all counting on you.
Getting bitten by a radioactive/genetic/magic/whatever spider doesn’t make you Spider-Man. All that does is give you some powers. Miguel believes that destiny chooses you to be Spider-Man, but he’s wrong.
You make yourself Spider-Man, and one person understands that better than anyone.
