Trent Reznor behind the scenes of Closer
It's so cool to see his fashion sense develop he looks so young in these!
❗ This is a re-upload of my old post. I discovered that it was accidentally deleted by me during the cleaning of posts on my page ❗ Okay, it's time for my another (useless) Trent Reznor compilation. Let's discover all his hairstyles of his synth-pop/pre-NIN era (1982 - 1988). That was an amazing era that impresses with its variety of hairstyles and colors. I use not only photos from gigs but also basically all photos that show the details of all periods well. Let's go!
Option 30. Trent became a member of this band in 1982.
Here are better photos of his hairstyle from that period. Some kind of cute short mullet. Up to a certain point he had his natural hair color.
The quality of the photo is poor, but he probably dyed his hair a bright red. He left Option 30 in 1984.
The Urge. Trent joined the band in 1984, I guess? There he had a bright red short haircut with a lot of hairspray on his head.
The closer look from 1984.
The Innocent. Nothing's changed in 1985, except maybe much more volume and hairspray, I guess.
Oh, hi Chris! The Exotic Birds. In 1986, Trent had a lot more experiments with his appearance. There is still a lot of hairspray but there are haircuts of different lengths and colors: blonde, brown-haired...
And, I believe, during this period he dyed his hair his favorite signature black for the first time.
Another example of Trent's early brunette.
Slam Bamboo. In 1987 he had a shorter black haircaut but later in 1988, he started growing his hair out.
Another example of his longer hair is from 1988, when Trent was working at Right Tracks Studios.
Lucky Pierre, 1988. The last band Trent was involved in before founding Nine Inch Nails. Back then, he was closest to his classic long black hair. If you have something to add to the post please let me know. Enjoy!
My inability to use my phone is so embarrassing call me the hulk cus I be smashing every button but the one I was aiming for😛
God invented insomnia so I could be annoying at all hours of the day x
Broken is a masterpiece
Happiness in Slavery
I like older band fan pages because I never know if I'm talking to an og fan that is 60yrs old or a 15 year old but they all thirst the same and I think that's beautiful
Big fan of Richards interviews
“Well, Nine Inch Nails is Trent’s band. Trent’s trying to make his music the best way he can think of. What am I doing in it? I’m not that great of a guitar player, I’m a great performer. Piggy was a great character, he was this crazy skinny guy on stage, I made him laugh. Trent, I used to make that fucker laugh 24 hours a day and just be his sidekick, his piggy, his goofy “come here piggy, what do you think about this? Ehh fuck it” you know? And I would go out of my way to be his, the extension of his chaos. I would be his right hand man and he wouldn’t wanna get himself in trouble but I would do it and he would go “Piggy, what do you think about that?” Like there was this day, Chris Vrenna had his… his laundry was all being put together and we were all in a hotel room and my bags had like shit all in it and everything is stinky and Chris Vrenna’s bag is packed immaculately and he’s like “Piggy, look at that man, doesn’t that just make you sick, look at how perfect he is, socks are in the sock thing and he’s got his underwear over there, he’s got his little dopp kit all set up, what do you think of that?” and I’m like “Piggy not like”. I would just go over and just attack it. Chris and I ended up getting into a huge fight and I threw him into a coffee table and he bled all over the place”

Does he like being pet like a dog? He does this a lot...
I'm the crowd
I want to start hitting people with my walking stick so they move the fuck out of the way
As a wheelchair user I'm trying to reframe my language for "being in the way."
"I'm in the way," "I can't fit," and "I can't go there," is becoming "there's not enough space," "the walkway is too narrow," and "that place isn't accessible."
It's a small change, but to me it feels as if I'm redirecting blame from myself to the people that made these places inaccessible in the first place. I don't want people to just think that they're helping me, I want them to think that they're making up for someone else's wrongdoing. I want them to remember every time I've needed help as something someone else caused.
