Yep, there’s an essential oil for that!
A little bit of magick created for @jesycastarr.
Before I get started on the magicky hoo-hah, I’m just going to write you a thing: you can address self-control (or a lack thereof) by performing grounding.
Grounding Visualisations ✧ Grounding/Meditation Chant ✧ Grounding ✧ Grounding Techniques
This magick will come in the form of a talisman, as talismans can be concealed as everyday items, such as jewellery - discreet and easily carried.
You Will Need:
The item you wish to enchant and carry; a piece of jewellery you wear regularly would be a very good idea.
Black Salt - this is normal salt, mixed with the ashes of this sigil after it has been drawn on paper and burned. **(Salt is cleansing, and can be used to charge your talisman, and it is imbued with the control-giving power of the sigil, which is activated upon burning.)
A Rhodonite crystal. **(A crystal associated with stability, self-control, calm, and growth.)
Pen & Paper - for the sigil.
A way to burn the sigil - however you choose to do this, be careful. Safety first.
A bowl.
What To Do:
Firstly, draw your sigil onto the paper and hold it in your hands for a little while. As you do this, focus on that which you wish to gain - in this case, focus on self-control; focus on gaining the ability to rein in your impulsiveness.
Burn your sigil, this activates it.
Wait for the ashes of the sigil to cool, and then mix them into the salt. You can use table salt, sea salt or rock salt - any salt, really will work just as well. The salt will probably turn a bit of a strange colour - this is normal.
In a small dish/bowl place your Black Salt, your soon-to-be-talisman and your Rhodonite crystal. This will charge the object and imbue it with the energy of the crystal.
To bolster the effectiveness of this talisman, leave it to charge under the Moon for 3 nights.
**Optional step: Each morning of the talisman’s charging process, speak or think these words as you stand before it: “Within this object my control is lain, bestow unto my being that which shall be mine; control over body, over action, over mind. Et sic factum est, et semper erit.”
When you feel the talisman’s effects begin to wane, and it will, you need only perform this same ritual again.

Stormcraft: A Guide to Wind Magic and Weather Work
Stormcraft is the magical practice of harnessing the power of wind, storms and weather to be used in your own personal craft. Storm Witches are witches who have devoted themselves to the art of weather work and storm manipulation.

A traditional practice in many aboriginal and indigenous cultures (one particular Native American story comes to mind that says that if you whistle while hunting for a bear’s den it is considered very bad luck, as you will attract the wind and give away your position. Yikes!)
A low pitch whistle summons a light breeze.
A high pitch whistle summons a large gust of wind.

One can catch and bind a storm using a bottle or jar charm or a rope or knot spell to put away for later use.
//Preventing a Storm//
“Blow it away” using whistling and weather maps for visualization.

//Energy in the Forces of Nature//
You are in a meeting with God where everyone is discussing about how there is no good left in the world as hell is where everyone is going. As the person who keeps account of everyone’s karmas, you realise you haven’t been keeping record of the good being done in the world.

crystal shape meanings in my grimoire.
1. Clear your intention: Think about what it is that you want. Be clear with your wants. and desires. Example: If you’re doing a spell to help find a job. Be clear with what kind of employment you’re looking for. Consider distance, profession, pay. Don’t just ask the universe to hand you a “Job”
2. Clear your space: Clear your space of negativity and distractions. Example: If you’re doing a luck spell, Don’t just wing it. Cleanse your space with herbs, reduce noise, clutter, or things that will get in your way. This could also mean people. Meaning, If there is company, or people around you who are not involved in the spell try to find a calm peaceful space where they won’t effect the outcome.
3. Improvise premade Spells: If you’re using a spell from a book, Or online (Tumblr) switch up the spell to make it personal and doable for you. Example: If the spell calls for lavender and you don’t have it use other calming ingredients like salt, Or your favorite calming incense.
4. Protect Yourself: No matter what spell you are doing, Always protect yourself before during and after. Example: Before your spell wear protective crystals or draw sigils on your body. During the spell create a protective circle, And after take a cleansing and protective bath with herbs and salt.

So you want to be a witch! Here is my own mini guide to help you get started~
First, ask yourself: 1. What are my interests? How could these interests be incorporated into my personal craft? For example, if you love to cook or bake, kitchen witchery may be something you’d like to explore. If you have a passion for nature, you may like to explore green witchery. The list is endless. If multiple paths interest you, explore them all! You don’t need to pick just one. You may be an eclectic witch. Eclectic witches incorporate many different paths to form their own unique path!
Types of witches include (but are not limited to): kitchen, green, sea, cosmic, hedge, urban, traditional, elemental, eclectic, weather, chaos, divination, etc.
There is also Wicca. However, ignore everything by Silver Ravenwolf.
In addition, there is Druidry, Celtic polytheism, Norse polytheism, Hellenic polytheism, Kemeticism, Christian witchcraft, and more.
You do not have to be religious to be a witch! Many see witchcraft as a skill. Not all witches worship Satan. Witches are not “good” or “evil.” Take everything you read, by anyone, with a grain of salt. Witchcraft is highly personal, and there is a lot of misinformation floating about. Not everything will be factual.
Fancy tools are not a requirement! Tools you make or find by yourself in nature will work just as well (and usually better!) Make your wand from a stick you find on a hike, for example! Then you can customize it however you wish. Add crystals, ribbons, glitter, just make it YOURS! The same thing goes for your Grimoire. You can just use a normal notebook, or binder, and personalize it. You don’t have to spend big money on a book (unless you want to). Witchcraft can be as simple or elaborate as you want it to be. There is much more to explore than in this post alone, so stay tuned for additional posts on a variety of topics! Feel free to shoot me an ask if you have any questions! Stay spooky, be safe, and HAVE FUN!

You’re in a rut. For some reason nothing has been going your way and you know your life needs a swift kick in the butt to get it back in gear. Try this powerful and energizing charm!
Materials:
Rose buds - for self-love and positive relationships with others
Sunstone - helps empower those who feel persecuted or abandoned by others, instilling confidence and optimism and encouraging motivation and positive action. Sunstone is also useful in removing energy-draining ties to you or “hooks” into your energy by other people.
Lemon rind - a lemon zinger to pump this charm full of enough energy to send your funk out the window
Lavender - this allows you to be gentle on yourself. It’s not you’re fault you’re in this funk. Lavender provides a great gentle energy.
Myrrh Incense (loose) - purifies the area and lifts your vibration to pull you out of whatever vibration you’re currently stuck in
White drawstring bag - this color will help you see the truth, shows you the ‘light’
Steps:
Center and ground yourself. Cleanse and gather all materials. This work should be done at your altar preferably.
Light Myrrh incense. Take a second to let the smoke flow over you.
Combine all ingredients into the white drawstring bag.
Tie up the bag with 3 knots. With each knot focus on what needs to improve. Something is holding you back right now and the sooner you pinpoint it, the sooner you can conquer it.
Carry this charm with you for as long as you feel like you need it.
