Cute things for you and your friends to do!

1. Sharing a journal 📝

One super easy thing to do with your friends that is fun and a super adorable keepsake is sharing a journal! Call up your buddies and decorate the journal together and start writing!

You share it in rotations. Write about your day, dreams, about your friends, your feelings, etc.

Glue down notes and doodles you and your friends do. And pass the journal on from one person to the next in your friend group!

This is a great activity for you if you are close or long distance friends! You can mail it to eachother and keep it for a certain period of time.

And if you/ya’ll want you can have as many journals as you have people so you all have one all the time and just trade ‘em off.

2. Miss you box 📦

Okay, so what you and your posse are going to want to do is either bring some items, or go out and buy some. What you want to achieve is basically building a ‘memory’ type box with shirts, hair ties, lotions/perfumes your friends use or something similar, and put them in a box. Photos, trinkets, stuffed toys and/or gifts from them are also nice touches to them. So when you miss your friends, you have a few things to remind you of them.

I think this is great if you have a friend group similar to mine, and ya’ll all live far away from each other. Because I miss them all the time and I know I like it when I can smell the perfume my friend uses, because in a sense it’s comforting and makes me feel less lonely.

Next time you’re with the friend/friends you could make a day of it next time you guys see eachother

3. Build a Bear 🐻

Alright, this could be expensive, but getting together with your group and making matching ‘lil buddies is super fun and could be done anywhere, not just the BAB stores. I know this idea is already self explanatory and a trend or… It was in 2020ish I think?!? Idk…

I’ll have to come up with more ideas but I have a ton of ideas to do w friends because I’m alone a lot and have plenty of thinking time. Lmao. Next three ideas I plan on writing about is Making a YT channel together, Pics or it didn’t happen, and Book clubs! So… Y’know. I’ll allow recommendations for ideas/specific topics like for people who are crafty, or long distance friends in particular, etc.

Hear me out, tragic boy autumn. That’s it that’s the idea. I’ll be reading the Picture of Dorian Gray and crying to cello music, and making mildly concerning artwork or smthin idek 🌚🤷

As a glasses wearer, these are some of my fav kinds of glasses and look super cute on feminine people AND masculine people. I also have a cute little story about these kinda of glasses.

When I was a little girl, my mom worked for a family practice of some kind (doctor), and nextdoor was a glasses shop and optometrist’s. She worked at the front desk or something like that, I don’t remember, I was little, like four.

Anyway, my mom and a few of her coworkers and some of the ladies who worked nextdoor at the eyeglass hut surprised me with a pair of red and pink glasses. I had been wanting glasses bc of an episode of Blues Clues where Magenta got her eyes checked and it was a very nice and sweet thing for them to do for me.

I wouldn’t actually need glasses until I was eight or nine but this is one of my favorite memories as a little girl and I hold it close to my heart.

Not really an important story, but I think it’s cute and these are very nostalgic for me.
