A greetings card (10 x 7" when opened) bearing a handwritten message and signature by Freddie Mercury. Message reads 'Dear Alison, Thank you for your letter - Do keep up the good work! My love to all your furry friends! Good luck and best wishes Freddie Mercury 1 Logan Place Kensington W.8.'. The vendor, who obtained the card, had asked Freddie Mercury for a donation to the charity they were fundraising for. A facsimile copy of the cheque is also included, as well as the original postmarked envelope the card and cheque were sent in and a signed note on provenance by the vendor.
