Sabrina was nearby, watching in support as Chloe talked with Marinette at the table. She could see the suspicion in the baker's daughter's eyes, but as Chloe spoke, there was something else there. Sympathy, compassion, and understanding.

The sincere, heartfelt apology was the right path, she had told Chloe. Nothing fancy, nothing elaborate that could be seen as trying to buy her favor. Just the honest truth, and letting the recent actions show that she meant it.

She could only hope that Marinette would agree to give her a chance. She wasn't wanting miracles, but if the miraculous were real, perhaps this could be her own little piece of that magic.

It had been ten weeks since Chloe cause an akuma, and that last one shouldn't count as it was her mother raging after Chloe stood up against her tearing into Zoe.

The hug... didn't look hopeless though?
