woke up and wrote this at 2am sorry for any mistakes! there might be a part two who knows >:)

HEADCANONS / hawks/keigo takami, shoto todoroki & hitoshi shinso things they do that let you know they love you, even if you don’t realize it.

𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐒 / 𝐊𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐎 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐈 never skips his routine peck on the temple while you sleep or a rushed kiss on the lips as he goes to leave keigo aaaalways lifts you up when he hugs you, strong arms wrapped around your midriff as he twirls you both around, a big grin on his face as he does he always sprays cologne on his gifts and notes he leaves at your door when he’s too busy to give you them directly (think warm woods, vanilla and hints of sweet citrus) he'll lean in close to your face with an almost deadpan look to his features... until he nuzzles his nose into yours (he finds your reaction cute) "can't help it, sweets, 'specially if you make that cute face every time!" 𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐒𝐇𝐈 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐎 runs a finger up your arm when you lay together, slow and light, as if you’re the most fragile thing in the world (and laughs at you if it tickles you) lazy, soft pecks on your face as you fall asleep he’ll walk with you, pinkies intertwined and always squeezing yours three times although you never seem to catch on that it means 'I love you'—don't bother asking, either, he's not telling

he doesn't get much proper rest only brief intervals of naps so when it's time for his daily hour-long snooze expect to be dragged along as well 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐈 he would read to you while you’re both in bed, nestled in his chest, even if he, himself, is tired, and falls asleep to your breathing.

tucks your hair behind your ear when he’s talking to you

tries to help you with cooking, even if he isn’t stellar at it (he’s learning) remembers small things about you — that one childhood memory of when you were five, what order in which you eat your food, that one theory you obsessively think about in a series or video game he’s never heard about before—everything and anything goes

boyfriend!toji who is absolutely obsessed with you (all day everyday) but especially when you’ve come home after a long day and you do your nightly shed. he loves watching you huff and puff about how itchy your bangles have been and he waits patiently for you to come to him and whine about your necklaces being tangled so you need help. he leaves little kisses on the most ticklish parts of your neck as he goes. then sometimes while your washing your face he’ll stand in the doorway of the bathroom and just stare at you. soapy suds running down to your elbows and your bare feet tap tap tapping on the floor. he insists on carrying you back to the bedroom and gets comfy so he can watch you at your vanity ready to apply your skincare. it’s a regular occurrence that you struggle with taking out your lenses and toji is here to save the day yet again. gentle hands cradle your face as he tries his best to take your lenses out with minimal pain, and then he takes it upon himself to squeeze your eye drops in for you. extra kisses on your eyelids incase he did hurt you. his most favourite bit is when you’re applying your lip balm and you lean over to give him a quick kiss.

‘this flavour better than yesterdays?’

truthfully he can’t remember.

and then you grab your glasses, which have always been too big for you and require you to scrunch up your nose adorably to fix them, and toji is ready to pick you up again. a new episode with his favourite girl in his lap is his idea of a night spent well.
