you, who managed to break down every bit of his egotistical self with just one smile that had him doubting if he smells good or not.

atsumu miya was head over heels in love with you, and that’s the least he could say about his feelings towards you.

“what are you looking at?” you ask, noticing his gaze lingering on you.

“just admiring you,” he says cheekily — and it was true, he was always admiring you.

you snort, “okay, lover boy.” you tease and he rolls his eyes, wrapping his arm around you.

you had him head over heels in love with you and you probably didn’t even realize it.

“kiss me,” he says suddenly, “what?” you utter out.

“kiss me,” he says again — he had noticed the faint tint of red on your lips, probably lip balm, strawberry? maybe cherry, who know. he was about to find out though.

you stare at him for a moment, confused before shrugging your shoulders and cupping his face, bringing him closer for a kiss.

you peck his lips and atsumu catches on to the faint taste of strawberries before you’re pulling away.

“hey!” he exclaims, “unfair.”

“what?” you asl, feigning innocence, “you wanted a kiss, i gave you one.”

“that barely qualified for a kiss,” he huffs and before you could respond, he’s holding you by the back of your neck and pulling you in for a proper kiss.

and yep, it was definitely strawberry flavored lip gloss you were wearing.

boyfriend!toji who is absolutely obsessed with you (all day everyday) but especially when you’ve come home after a long day and you do your nightly shed. he loves watching you huff and puff about how itchy your bangles have been and he waits patiently for you to come to him and whine about your necklaces being tangled so you need help. he leaves little kisses on the most ticklish parts of your neck as he goes. then sometimes while your washing your face he’ll stand in the doorway of the bathroom and just stare at you. soapy suds running down to your elbows and your bare feet tap tap tapping on the floor. he insists on carrying you back to the bedroom and gets comfy so he can watch you at your vanity ready to apply your skincare. it’s a regular occurrence that you struggle with taking out your lenses and toji is here to save the day yet again. gentle hands cradle your face as he tries his best to take your lenses out with minimal pain, and then he takes it upon himself to squeeze your eye drops in for you. extra kisses on your eyelids incase he did hurt you. his most favourite bit is when you’re applying your lip balm and you lean over to give him a quick kiss.

‘this flavour better than yesterdays?’

truthfully he can’t remember.

and then you grab your glasses, which have always been too big for you and require you to scrunch up your nose adorably to fix them, and toji is ready to pick you up again. a new episode with his favourite girl in his lap is his idea of a night spent well.

I love haikyu so much. Like it is my favorite anime. Character development, loveable relatable characters, no plot armor in the best way possible, emotional and comedic moments, great animation (90% of the time (we all have our off days shut up)), rewarding payoffs- just everything I could ask for honestly. Just so much fun.

The only anime I can sit and watch like watch watch. Love it so damn much I went ahead and read the manga cause I could fucking wait for the newest seasons/movie to come out. I remember sitting in my fucking Spanish class trying to hold back tears during the Nekoma game AND when Hinata got sick. Like that doesn’t happen to me, I’m not a cry type person but this show perpetually has me fucked up.

I just fucking love that show so much.

(This is my way of letting yall know to expect more haikyu content because I have lots of ideas I’ve just been holding onto throughout the years. Please please please with a cherry on top send in any ideas yall have whether you want me to expand on them or just to share- let me know.)
