Jeddah GP '25 // Carlos on the Post Race Show
"Today, probably, the first race where I maximized what the Williams can do. It's only my 5th race with the team... I think we did a good teamwork, we did everything we could, even though we didn't have the easiest of times in the pit lane with the slow pit stop. The mechanics have been amazing this year, today got a bit stressful for a minute, but then...we managed to bring home the P8." "I just need to keep doing what I'm doing, taking it step-by-step, race-by-race... Following my way of doing things and my philosophy of learning a car, it's just working and going in the right direction. We'll still face setbacks and difficult moments along the way, learning the car and in this adaptation process, but as long as I keep it cool and keep doing my own thing, I think I can get to a very high level in Formula One, like I've shown before."

JEREZ 2025 | Maybe what you see in the dictionary in front of "pride" and "brotherly love", I think.
Jeddah GP '25 // P6 in Quali
"Happy with the progress we're doing. Second quali in a row, I think, that we do the maximum the car can do... I need to talk with the pillow because trying to be tough to pass last time out in Bahrain cost me quite a bit. I need to decide what's my strategy tomorrow- whether to settle for high points finish and let the faster cars go by, or fight them out and see what we can do. I don't know, I'm fifty-fifty right now..."
Carlos’ jenga strategy still the same
The Atlassian CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes, James Vowles and Jenson Button were together today on a Conference for Atlassian Team’ 25 Event, and the CEO took the time to tell an anecdote about how impressed he was by Carlos attitude on Australia:
“Netflix and cameras are all gone, no one cares anymore in that side of garage. And I saw Carlos walk in, he went to every single member of his pit crew, one by one, thanked each of them. That’s the classiest move I’ve seen someone do.”
And James Vowles saying how Carlos is above all a TEAMPLAYER
“That’s Carlos. Carlos in the moment of it, the team is bigger than him and he wanted the team to be successful above himself. That’s extraordinary, and that’s what he’s all about”
🤍
“He’s fastest! Carlos Sainz!”
