as far as one piece antagonists go Crocodile truly gets absolutely scooby-doo’d at unmatched levels
He immediately falls for a phone scam and from basically little garden to rainbase he doesn’t even know the strawhats are alive (and clowning towards him at incredible speed). As soon as he does, they’re in his house tearing at his walls and bringing marines into his villain lair.
He uses a literal floor trap door over a gator pit to catch them, gets phone scammed again, full scooby-doo chase scenes after Chopper through the streets while still missing him, and suddenly his prisoners have escaped his impossible cage, and his giant bananagators are dead. and Nico Robin saw it all happen.
He then spends rest of the arc complaining about those meddling kids and their dog “strawhat pirates and their weird pet” and at no point does he even know how many strawhats there are.
Like yeah he keeps having plans on top of plans to stop everything Vivi can do but also she keeps coming up with a new thing to do (Tom and Jerry ass dynamic).
Part of it is that he’s underestimating them and keeps grandstanding villain monologuing but also teens keep killing hundreds of his grand line bounty hunters and he straight up does not know what is happening.
Cause he IS trying to kill them he’s sending top assassins after them and ripping out luffy’s organs, the whole time he’s yelling HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?? DIE. as whack-a-mole Luffy keeps inventing new ways to hit him.
Watched Conclave last night. The emotional journey I went through thinking "oh this is just like Mean Girls haha" to "this is just Mean Girls" was insane
bonus:
vini deserves so much better. nobody deserves racial abuse at all, and it is disappointing to continually see this same story playing out across club football time and time again. it is so disappointing that not only was he the recipient of racist words but he was carded and felt the need to apologize on social media. the fact that he got consequences for enduring abuse is such a joke.
additionally important, though, is every single black man in laliga (including vini) who have, will have, or are going through the same or similar racist violence from fans, players, staff, and referees. the entire league needs to do better at protecting players from this abuse, because nobody deserves this.
my heart goes out to vini, truly, i hope he is doing ok. he deserves so so much better. they all do.
Is this how Tsum Jack’s unique magic will work?
I just saw a girl on tiktok talking about how her Palestinian grandma won’t be able to renew her passport with her place of birth as Palestine. She will have no place of birth.
Tell me why people were trying to compare it to Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia etc.
My whole ass family was born in Czechoslovakia. Guess what. They now have a passport in Czechia/Slovakia, depending on where they lived. They have a country to call their own. They have some of the strongest passports in the world.
Palestinians are intentionally being eradicated. Their land bombed and stolen. Please educate yourselves before you say bullshit on the internet.
We are a family of nine, and my father is unemployed due to the difficult situation. My brother is preparing for his Tawjihi exams in the middle of war, and my youngest brother, Ahmad, often asks us for simple things, but most of the time, we can't afford them.
To practice my profession and help those in need, I must pay licensing fees. But with everything we’re going through, affording these fees is nearly impossible.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to achieving my dream, supporting my family, and making a difference in my community.
If you can’t donate, you can still help by sharing my story—every act of support makes a difference!

By now, you all must have seen the news that Gaza had officially run out of food, as one of the main aid suppliers in Gaza, World Food Program, had announced that their stock has been completely depleted, leaving just a few days for community kitchens to function.
This comes after more than 50 days (and counting) of Israel's complete closure of the borders, preventing food and medicine, among other life essentials, from entering Gaza. There are children crying out of hunger with trucks loaded with over 100,000 tons of food mere minutes away from them, which Israel continues to prevent from entering besieged Gaza.
This also comes after Israel had deliberately destroyed swaths of farmlands in Gaza, specifically targeting them with bombs and chemical weapons that destroy the chance of growing crops. Israel also made sure bakeries are destroyed as well as water sources.
Diabolical is an understatement when it comes to the Zionist entity.
There are still things you can do. On top of raising awareness and protesting when possible, independent organisations like APN are working directly with farmers in Gaza to rehabilitate the agricultural sector and restore local food systems to combat famine, counter the blockade and build food sovereignty. You can donate to their Revive Gaza's Farmlands initiative here.
Additionally, keep in mind that this means whatever food supplies remain available in Gaza now costs astronomical amounts of money, so keep sharing and donating to individual fundraising campaigns. Gazafunds is a good source if you're not sure where to start. Remember that your donations and shares are often the only source of hope for these families.
