Do you feel bored of the posts asking for help from Gaza? You’re right, but imagine our situation as we live this war day after day for 13 months. Do you think we’re tired too?!!

Asking for help is not easy; it’s very embarrassing, especially for a family that used to live a decent life. My husband and I completed our university education with distinction, worked in respectable jobs, and were used to helping others, not asking for help. But the war has turned our lives into a nightmare; we lost our home, our sources of income, and even our ability to provide the simplest of needs.

I'm Hanan. For the past 13 months, we have been struggling to get healthy food and medicine for my child, whose weak body was attacked by infection, and for my elderly mother-in-law, who fell into a coma for several days and almost lost her life due to anemia caused by our inability to provide healthy food, as prices have risen more than 10 times. Now, we have run out of everything. While you are reading my message, my family and I are trying to survive amidst all kinds of suffering.

What was once a beautiful dream and reality has now become a nightmare. Starvation is one thing, but starving, freezing, and being forced to flee in the middle of the night when tanks suddenly arrive in your area, running for your life and your family’s life under fire, leaving behind everything you built over the years, and returning after 5 months of suffering in displacement and tents to find that your home, where you lived your happiest moments, is nothing but rubble, is something completely different! 💔😓

Can you feel my broken heart now? Can you imagine what I’m going through at this moment? Everything I am living now cannot be described with words, and every moment here is filled with pain and fear. We desperately need your help, as we live in hope of escaping Gaza to save our lives and live safely away from the explosions.

You might feel powerless to stop this genocide, but you can certainly save my family. We appeal to your compassionate hearts to help us escape this catastrophe, which the human mind cannot even fathom.

Please share our campaign with your family and friends. This will help us reach those who can help us directly. Be the reason to bring hope back to our hearts ♥️✨

Dear Friends, 🌷

I know you share my story out of love and humanity, and I am truly grateful for that. 🙏💚

The painful truth is sharing alone does not feed the hungry or provide medicine for the sick.💔

Cost of a bag of flour is $300 which is the main source of food for my family and is needed weekly just to make bread. We live in a tent my child trembles from hunger and cold, and all I can do is pray. 😥

Please, don’t just watch or share. Even a small donation could be a lifeline for a hungry child or a suffering patient. 🙏

Don’t close your eyes to our suffering. We are calling upon your humanity.

The last donation 20 hours ago!! 😓

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to buy some essential necessities that we couldn't do without, despite their high cost. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to feeding my child, even with a piece of bread 🙏💚. Your generosity gives us hope in facing these indescribable catastrophic circumstances 💔.

Our hope for survival comes from the generosity of your hearts. Your donations are the lifeline that keeps my family standing strong, They are our only source of income. Every contribution brings us closer to securing food and medicine for my family. Please, don’t leave us alone; your compassion is the light that dispels this darkness. ✨🫂

Imagine dedicating your life to helping others, selflessly pouring your time and energy into saving lives and easing suffering. Suddenly, the home and way of life you knew is destroyed by bombs raining from the sky, and the roles are reversed—your family’s survival is suddenly in the hands of others.

Story by @rumiandroses

This is reality for Samy Abu-Shawish, a nurse in Gaza, whose career has been spent saving lives—yet now, he must face incredible odds to save his own family.

Samy, a staff nurse at UNRWA, and his wife Nariman, also a nurse, are parents to four children: Lulu, Emad, Mohammad, and Adam. They are seeking help—a chance to escape the unfathomable nightmare that over a year of bombings and death and starvation has brought to Gaza.

With the violence escalating by the day, Samy and his family live under constant threat of attack. Samy and Nariman do their best to shield their children from the horrors unfolding around them, praying that the kindness of strangers will allow them to escape to safety—an opportunity the family otherwise cannot afford.

“The cost of leaving Gaza is beyond our means,” Samy shares. “Without your help, our dreams of a safe and peaceful future for our family remain out of reach.”

Currently, the only viable route out of Gaza is through Egypt, but it comes at a staggering price. Adults are being charged $5,000 to $10,000 for safe passage, with children’s fees at roughly half that. For Samy and his family of six, that would be a cost of approximately $40,00.

Despite completing a master’s degree in public health in June 2023 and dedicating his career to the service of others, Samy now finds himself with limited resources after funding his own higher education. The blockade of goods and aid into Gaza have caused the prices of everything—even the most basic of necessities like food, medicine, and clothes—to skyrocket, making basic survival incredibly difficult, and rendering saving for safe passage nigh on impossible.

Samy’s wish is simple: to find safety for his children and give them a future free from fear.

"As healthcare professionals, we have dedicated our lives to caring for others, and now we humbly ask for your help in ensuring the safety and well-being of our own family," Samy writes on his GoFundMe page.

Every donation brings this family one step closer to safety. With your support, Samy, Nariman, and their children can escape the violence and begin to rebuild their lives in safety.

If you cannot donate, please share this post to help Samy find people who can financially assist.

You can donate to Samy’s GoFundMe campaign [HERE].

I think it’s crazy that people were allowed to get away with essentially running Ahmed (90-ghost) off of Tumblr because of a mass campaign dedicated to calling Palestinians and Gazans asking for funds “scammers”.

Like, people were really going mask off and essentially reverting to Republican ways of speaking by going “well if they’re poor, why do they have phones?” “why’s the way they talk so weird?” “[x thing white people think only exists in western countries ] doesn’t exist in Palestine”

And they were allowed to get away with it. And people listened. And people agreed. And people harassed Ahmed so bad he had to leave Tumblr. And those people are still on here, posting their regularly scheduled content like they didn’t participate in one of the worst anti Arab campaigns I’ve ever seen.

Here are some highlighted campaigns that particularly need the funds so the families running them can survive. 🇵🇸❤️ (list taken from @ibtisams blog)

Even my wife was not spared from this war that is devastating my entire family🧒🧒👩‍🦰👶. I was pregnant for 9🤰 months and unfortunately my daughter died at birth, due to poor nutrition😪🥺 and unhealthy living conditions for her and our baby.

We lack basic human needs, no food, no electricity, no water. We have been poisoned and infected🍞 by the unhealthy water🥛 we drink. During this period, she felt remorse at how difficult it was for a mother to see her children sick and unable to treat them because she is also very sick. I hope to provide us with support in order to cover the costs associated with ensuring our safe passage to Egypt across the border. Please stand with me, we are now homeless, with no children's needs such as education and food and drink. Please help us by donating to survive and leave Gaza with my children. Imagine losing your home, your possessions, and even access to basic necessities, all while battling chronic asthma in the middle of a war zone. This is the heartbreaking reality for 21-year-old Sondos Khamis Jafer, who lives in northern Gaza.

Story written by @rumiandroses

Sondos’s home was destroyed in a bombing, leaving her family displaced multiple times. Her father suffered a head injury in the same attack, and with no money for medicine or food, the family faces hunger, illness, and the relentless rise in living costs.

“We have lost everything,” Sondos said to us in her message asking for assistance.

Determined to help her family, Sondos has launched a fundraising campaign, hoping for support to buy medicine, food, and clothing—basic items that are out of reach in their current situation. Despite her efforts, the campaign is new and has yet to receive support.

“I beg you,” Sondos pleads. “Any amount you donate will make a huge difference to us.”

Your support can help Sondos and her family rebuild their lives and find some relief from their overwhelming struggles. Even the smallest contribution can bring them closer to hope and stability.

You can donate to Sondos’s Chuffed campaign [HERE].

An adroit young woman willfully followed her passion in fashion design, and her perseverance has led her to insurmountable success in both her academics and in her field.

Why, then, is our world not employing global outrage that she was forced to abandon all her dreams and live in constant destruction?

An Adroit Young Woman Willfully Followed Her Passion In Fashion Design, And Her Perseverance Has Led

Images: (Top) Kawthar Zeyad Ramadan was following her dreams of becoming a fashion designer...until the conflict in Gaza halted them. (Bottom) The tent that Kawthar now lives in.

@kawthar-22

Story by @fabricated-pessimist

Kawthar Zeyad Ramadan has endured countless hardships that led to her losing her family, friends, and her life’s dreams. Instead of working hard at designing new clothes or reviewing fabrics, she now has to work infinitely more hard to merely survive. Her life’s work is no longer a passion, it is a call to action. Not to mention that it was her valiant work that gave her family a means of income and survival, all of which was mercilessly stripped away in an instant by the conflict. On top of the heartbreak of war, her mother’s health has been a great point of worry for her family for years. She suffers acute kidney failure and requires dialysis three times a week, a requirement that has scarcely been fulfilled due to the increasingly inaccessible healthcare system, the mass of people in every hospital, and the burden of constantly being displaced. Recently, her refugee camp has experienced terrible flooding that has forced them to live in wet conditions during the coldest season of the year. Even with all of this looming upon her and her family’s life, all Kawthar asks from us is a kind donation to her campaign for a chance at rebuilding her beautiful career and aiding her mother’s dire health conditions.

We implore you to give her some peace of mind that the world cares about her family, her career, and her fellow Gazans by offering even a single dollar, pound, euro, or dinar towards her campaign.

You can donate to Kawthar's GoFundMe [HERE].

Kawthar's campaign has been vetted by @90-ghost, @gaza-evacuation-funds and @gazavetters.
