Imagine being an Information Technology student, your days filled with lectures, coding projects, and dreams of a better future. Then one day, your entire world is upended. You find yourself standing atop the ruins of your home, the bitter wind biting through your clothes as you stare at the devastation stretching endlessly before you. In the blink of an eye, your world has transformed from textbooks and computer screens to survival amid the wreckage of a genocide.

Story written by @rumiandroses

Before the war, Mahmoud was an Information Technology student at Gaza University, harboring dreams of building a brighter future for his family. Those dreams were shattered when the university was bombed, classes were suspended, and his home in Khan Yunis was reduced to ruins. Now, Mahmoud and his family live in a makeshift tent in a displacement camp, fighting to survive without water, electricity, or access to food.

The winter cold seeps through every threadbare inch of the tent, and the howling wind drowns out the silence left by everything they’ve lost. With his father sick and his brother in need of medical care, Mahmoud shoulders the burden of his family’s survival alone. Every day is a battle against hunger and despair, a struggle to find clean water and enough food to keep his loved ones alive.

Despite the ceasefire, the nightmare continues. The streets of Gaza are lined with hollow buildings and shattered glass, a grim reminder that peace is a fragile but unwavering hope. The infrastructure is decimated, jobs are nonexistent, and the people are left to fend for themselves amid the wreckage. Mahmoud's dreams of finishing his education are now intertwined with a desperate plea for survival—for the chance to escape Gaza, to rebuild their lives, to turn the page on this chapter of endless loss.

Your support can help Mahmoud continue his education outside of Gaza, to rebuild what was destroyed, and to keep his family alive through the darkest winter they’ve ever known.

Please consider making a donation to help Mahmoud's family rebuild, or by sharing his story so his call for help can reach others who can.

You can donate to Mahmoud's GoFundMe campaign [HERE].

Giving birth amidst war is an unimaginable challenge. It is not only unsanitary, dangerous, and costly but also a profound violation of women’s rights—Huda’s rights included.

Moataz works tirelessly to raise funds for their campaign, especially now that his wife has given birth and their family must spend on essential items like food, clothes, diapers, and more.

Giving Birth Amidst War Is An Unimaginable Challenge. It Is Not Only Unsanitary, Dangerous, And Costly

@motazgaza

Story written by @fabricated-pessimist

On top of these challenges, they face the terrifying reality of raising a child in an unsanitary tent, where the risk of infections like polio and other diseases looms large. Imagine the constant fear of losing your child to something preventable, simply because of the conditions you are forced to live in.

Instead of enjoying the safety and comfort of their once bright and colorful home, Huda and Moataz now endure a life plagued by insects, bacteria, and the relentless surveillance and bombardment of the occupation.

You have the power to give this family a chance to provide the best life possible for their child. They are already more than halfway to their goal. If everyone who reblogs this post donates even one dollar, their campaign could be fully funded in no time. Please don’t let the hard work and determination of Moataz and Huda go in vain.

It breaks my heart to see that the world is such that there is no one to hold the Zionist state and the US empire accountable. The Zionists keep on crying about October 7th and the hostages, and every Western institution keeps on coddling them. There has been no genuine acknowledgement of the fact that the British government implanted an illegal settler colony in Palestine and that settler colony forced the native people out of their homes in 1948. There has been no genuine acknowledgent of the horrors of the Nakba, no acknowledgement of ethnic cleansing, no acknowledgement of the destruction of the land in trying to hide the genocide of 1948 through greenwashing, there has been no acknowledgement of the fact that Gaza has been an open air prison, and that Hamas has every right to push back against the oppression of the Zionist state. Right now another genocide is being carried out in front of our eyes, with enthusiastic encouragement from the Western world, the most complicit being the USA. It was always about re-occupation of Gaza and today the Zionist state violated the ceasefire. I am scared for my friends. I am terrified and I do not know how to help except to keep the fundraisers circulating.

So please donate to my friend Siraj Abudayeh.

And please keep requesting a refund from both of his gofundme campaigns, that were shut down unfairly by the fundraising site. I do not care how long you have to go back and forth with gofundme on this, but Siraj lost 32k because of the site's callousness and even recovering half of that money would mean a lot. So if you have donated in November, December of 2024 and in January of this year, please request a refund because Gofundme allows requests upto a year. They should by their own policy still have the money with them. Please help by clicking on the links above...

Today is Eid al-Fitr BUT...

Today Is Eid Al-Fitr BUT...

Hello, as you know we have returned to genocide, death and destruction... martyrs are everywhere, there is no security... today is supposed to be a day of joy and happiness and people visit each other to celebrate and not to mourn and offer condolences for the loss of their loved ones.😔

No food or drink and the crossing is closed... Eid al-Fitr is a holiday for exchanging gifts and giving children money but the situation is extremely difficult.😔😢

Please help us and donate to us, as if it is a gift for the children to be happy by buying necessities, food and toys 😞🙏😔💔

Even my wife was not spared from this war that is devastating my entire family🧒🧒👩‍🦰👶. I was pregnant for 9🤰 months and unfortunately my daughter died at birth, due to poor nutrition😪🥺 and unhealthy living conditions for her and our baby.

We lack basic human needs, no food, no electricity, no water. We have been poisoned and infected🍞 by the unhealthy water🥛 we drink. During this period, she felt remorse at how difficult it was for a mother to see her children sick and unable to treat them because she is also very sick. I hope to provide us with support in order to cover the costs associated with ensuring our safe passage to Egypt across the border. Please stand with me, we are now homeless, with no children's needs such as education and food and drink. Please help us by donating to survive and leave Gaza with my children. Share this link as much as possible Note: my campaign is vetted by Femme intifada on telegram
